Situated in Florence, 120 metres from Pitti Palace, Casa Botticelli offers rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. Eleonora the owner was such a pleasant lady - bubbling over with enthusiasm for Florence and extremely knowledgeable about the city. Casa Botticelli is steeped in history with the main dining room having been the study of Robert Browning and his wife Elisabeth Barrett from 1847 onwards. The casa is located about 5 minutes from Ponte Vecchio so is the perfect starting point for sightseeing. Our room no. 7 on the second floor was beautifully appointed with a great bath tub. It was very clean and pleasantly warm. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows. Lovely welcoming gift of Chianti wine and water. Breakfast was tasty and catered for our needs. Self check-in went smoothly. Giacomo was available in case of need.

I liked the hotel from all aspects, very attentive stuff, very good location to travel out of Firenze and close enough to the city 10 minutes by cab. Excellent breakfast.

Room was beautiful.with great view from balcony. Great garden. Room was clean, everything worked. Hotel servise people were the most friendly people I have met in my life. I have seen most of the things.in Florence but I want to get back there just to sleep in this hotel.

I really liked the staff in this hotel, they were very kind. thanks to Roland who was always there in the night shift that provides us with extra towels and bed sheets to our room. the hotel is authentic and makes you feel the real Italian experience. the location is great because it’s not between the tinny streets of Florence, it’s located within 10 mins walking from the center which makes it more open. the walk from the hotel to the center is so cool because it’s all by river. I highly recommend giving this hotel a try.
