Surrounded by lush gardens and old trees, Classic Hotel is housed in a 19th-century villa near Porta Romana gate in Florence. This hotel really exceeded our expectations. The 3 main standouts were the staff, who were so kind and friendly, which in a city totally overrun with tourists is amazing, the parking - which makes staying in Florence so much less stressful, and the location - being able to get away from the hoardes and the noise to a green and quiet neighbourhood is a relief.
