A beautiful hotel and when you arrive you are told it is actually an active palace that you are staying in. We stayed in a river view room. The room was beautiful with amazingly high ceilings. We loved the breakfast room too!

Renovated in 2024, Room Mate Isabella is an elegant 19th-century building on Florence's designer shopping street, 5 minutes' walk from the Uffizi Gallery and the Cathedral. Golden Tower is a completely non-smoking luxury boutique hotel next to Palazzo Strozzi, in Florence's most exclusive area. This property features a spa for extra charge, ultra-modern rooms and a bar. The location was perfect and central to all the tourist spots. The staff was super kind and helpful. We wish we had more time to spend at the Golden Tower Hotel.

Al Palazzo del Marchese di Camugliano is set in a 16th-century building with original frescoes and a charming internal garden. The hotel is near the river, and only 10 minutes walk to the Cathedral and The Uffizi Galleries. We even walked to and back from Piazzale Michelangelo one day. We booked the loft, both beds are comfortable. In such a city center location, the hotel was amazingly quiet. We didn’t use the kitchen but it’s well equipped. Staff here are friendly and helpful. The tea room where we can enjoy some tea and snacks after a long walk in the hot weather is such a nice arrangement. We all love it!
