I loved this property. Fantastic location- you can easily walk to the quieter Oltrano or walk to all the sights in the Centro easily. Staff is amazing. They treated me like I was a princess. I had a room in the newer wing and it was huge , very comfortable, had an extra comforter which is unusual, a robe and slippers. Bathrooms in new wing need an update but that is happening this winter. Great breakfast in a stunning room with frescoes and a view of the Arno . The rooftop Deck is fantastic place to have an afternoon glass of wine . Everyone was very helpful and absolutely lovely. Will be back in the spring .

We enjoyed our stay and would always come back! The location is great and our room was very quiet. It was clean, modern, and the bed was comfortable. The AC was working well and there is an elevator in the building. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great!

Ponte Vecchio
Peruse the shops perched above the River Arno on this pedestrian bridge. Dating back to 972, its history is the stuff of storybooks. Ponte Vecchio’s seen it all from noble feuds to ruinous floods. Once a market where vendors sold meat, the smell of raw flesh tossed in the Arno disgusted the Medici dukes. Today’s retailers are much less carnivorous (they’re jewellers).

The Ponte Vecchio is a must when visiting Florence. The shops are varied and interesting. Make time to pause for a cocktail (or gelato) and watch the variety of people walking across this famous landmark.

Ponte Vecchio is an amazing spot to buy jewelry from jewelers that have been in the business for centuries. The price of gold is standardized so not much point going from each place to ask about the price of gold, instead find a store that specializes in what you're looking for and has the style you like. Some places specialize in gems, others gold, others vintage pieces.

Go really early for great photos without crowds or sunset and night. Bellisimo. Be careful when walking over the bridge in the day as it gets very crowded and artists put their drawings on the ground and if you walk on it, you buy it!

You have to buy something from 18-karat gold here☺️! It’s not cheap but gold is tradition in Florence ( and leather). But be prepared that it’s only not crowded in the morning (when only few shops are open though).

Our hotel was adjacent to this attraction so we had a daily view of it. The photo shown by booking.com does not resemble what it looked like in December. The bridge itself is wall to wall jewellery shops. A good time to visit is before or after they close. The shop fronts change back to the original wooden frontage and makes for a good photo.

Since I visited Florence four times in the 21 years, I know enough where to choose as accomandation. On our last visit, we took an apartment on the southern side of the river, the Bridge was just below our window. The city view is both fantastic and classic. It is the apartment with almost the same view of the location of the "hotel room" where the film "Room with a view" was shot. It is like a dream coming true.

Host very easy to get a hold of with any question. Very helpful in helping us orient to Florence. Near Ponte Vecchio and all museums. Near caffès n restaurants.
Gorgeous apartment close to Piazzale Michelangelo, which is a beautiful spot and a must see either at sunrise or sunset. Only 15-20 mins away from Ponte Vecchio and city center. Some things are a little bit too vintage in the apartment but that just added it character. My fiancé and I loved this stay and will probably be coming back:)
Deluxe apartment, Oltrarno, close to Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Bardini Gardens, good shower with hot water, laundry facilities, helpful and friendly attendants, Floret restaurant is nice, beautiful courtyard at the back of the property, relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the full breakfast buffet (eggs, bacon, pastries, meats/cheeses). The location is a 15 min walk from the tourist area and Ponte Vecchio so it was a very quiet and relaxing neighbourhood. Our room was spotless and the bathroom/shower was spacious.
Great location convention to the train station, airport tram and the city center. Quiet street near many cafes and restaurants. Easy to get to the market, il Duomo or the Ponte Vecchio from the hotel.
Location right off the Ponte Vecchio, with everything you would need in a place to stay in Florence. Grocery store right downstairs on same block, and easy access to taxis if needed. Overall, we were very pleased, especially with ability to do laundry. Valentina is a very accommodating host, and I sincerely appreciated her kindness.
This was the best hotel of our two week trip to Italy. It was moderately priced, the shower had instant hot water, the lighting for putting on makeup was great. But the two best features were the breakfast and the location. So close to the Duomo, shops, and the Ponte Vecchio.
Excellent, excellent, excellent! Best views of the Ponte Vecchio, best location, large apartment, super comfortable, washer and drier, big bathroom, coffee machine (Nespresso), easy to check in and check out. and super quiet.
And it has four ACs that keep the apartment cool during the hottest days. We had a great time there!
Hotel is located literally at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio, so it's on a very lively, well-traveled (cars and foot traffic) street. We would have preferred a quieter, calmer location, but the price could not be beat. Accommodations were fine (quite dated, small room, but great water pressure in shower), breakfast was very nice, views from breakfast/happy hour area were lovely. Not sure I'd choose it again...but it was fine.
