The staff was just super! Arrangements for the shuttle to and from the airport was great and on time. Breakfast was excellent and the location made everything very walkable.

The decor of the hotel and room are exactly as shown in the pictures. Very well kept as there are no signs of wear and tear. Tons of stairs to get to the reception area, but there is an elevator to use as well. We had breakfast as well( which is not included in our rate) It consisted of sweet crossiants, fruit, yogurt, toast with jams, slices of cakes and cappuccino. Milk, juices and coffee was also offered. Good value. The hotel is located walking distance (5 minutes)to Uffizzi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria, the market area which has loads of shops for eating and shopping. Good variety of restaurants around the hotel.

Right on the Arno River bank, Plaza Hotel Lucchesi is a 10-minute walk from Piazza della Signoria. It features air-conditioned rooms, a 24-hour front desk and traditional restaurant. Everything was perfect. The location along the Arno made it easy to reach everything. The staff was friendly and professional, and the room was clean and comfortable (with a view of Santa Croce and the Duomo). The rooftop bar had the best views I've ever experienced at a bar in Florence (and I've lived in Florence). Lastly, we were traveling with 2 small dogs and the hotel was friendly and accommodating to them.

Hotel Bodoni is just over a quarter mile from Florence Cathedral. It provides free city maps and free Wi-Fi in public areas. I had a very pleasant stay with exceptionally friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast. The location is fantastic, staff are very helpful who made my solo travel comfortable to a great extent. Very good value. I give highest recommendation to this hotel.
