The kids were very comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Everything was spotless, which we really appreciated. The location was ideal for exploring Florence! We were able to walk easily to all the main attractions in the city center, which made sightseeing so much more enjoyable and convenient, especially with young children in tow. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. On the day of our check-out, one of the team members even helped us book a hotel in Pisa over the phone when our online booking wasn’t working.

Beautiful little boutique hotel (ony 9 rooms/suites) situated inside a secure, private courtyard on a quiet side street. Yet it was around the corner from the Basilica Santa Croce and only a 5-minute walk from the Galleria Uffizi. Perfectly located to walk to all the major sites, restaurants, shopping etc. yet the area maintained the feel of a local neighborhood with school children in the piazza, folks grabbing a morning cafè and croissant on their way to work and lots of people out for evening stroll. While the door to our room (#9) was on the hotel's only floor, once past the door we had to decend a flight of carpeted stairs to our suite. This was not a problem for us but could be for anyone with a mobility issue. We had not been advised beforehand; as the hotel was full booked there were no other rooms available. Most of the staff were friendly yet professional. We would return to the Palazzo Roselli Cecone in a heartbeat!
