The owners were the most gracious people we have meet so far on our trip around Chile. The setting is quiet and centrally located with a very fine Chilean restaurant within walking distance that served great food. Parking is not guaranteed but seems safe and can be obtained very close to the residence. The linens were of good quality and fresh and clean. We had many hours of great English conversation . Come stay …. you will not regret it!

I am back in Europe and it's time to review this wonderful hotel. Warm welcome started already ahead of my trip when I got an e-mail from Manuela who asked about my arrival time and advised that I could check in already at 10 am. Once I arrived I was welcomed by Manuela and the owners: Alfredo and his wife Patricia. They are such warm and friendly people that made me feel like a part of their family. The room was spacious, well equipped, with attention to details: bottle of water, slippers, cosmetics. The building itself is a very nice architecture. Breakfast was amazing, warm bread, fruits, cheese, fantastic Casa Conde eggs made by Alfredo. Top class! Everbody was so welcoming, including the dog Romeo :-) It was difficult to leave this wonderful place where I felt safe and happy. I travelled solo, did many wine tours and each time I had a pick up for the tour, somebody escorted me to the car to make sure that I reached right place. Thank you very much to all of you (Patricia, Alfredo,Manuela and Flavia), I keep my great memories of you inside my heart. Hasta la vista!

Set in a refurbished Patrimonial Palace, Matildas Hotel Boutique offers accommodations in Santiago. Free WiFi access is available. I had to take breakfast before the breakfast time - they did it anyway for me. Super friendly staff. Nice recommendation for dinner close by. Beautiful old palace in Santiago. Way better than a classical impersonal hotel - excelent valuenfor money. Neighborhood is a traditional one in Santiago, but these days not the safest. Just make sure you are taken there by taxi if you come by night.
