We had 2 weeks in Iceland and travelled around the country. We stayed in 5 different locations, all special and unique. But Gljásteinn was a little corner of paradise. Róbert built his house with so much passion and love and respect for the nature around it, it is very impressive. He was there to guide us, to give us some good tips about where to eat, what to explore, and the whole experience was simply wonderful.

Secluded, yet close to all the Golden circle attractions. Good heaters to dry your clothes after a rainy day. The hot tub is epic. Beautiful design inside. Easy to find and enter.

At the holiday home guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. First of all, that location was fantastic. A small cabin on top of the hill -just doesn’t get any better than that.  And the cabinet south was very compact, but with good use of space. The bed was exceptional (and I never rave about holiday beds!).

This house is amazing, spacious, comfortable, everything you need and more included. Location is very good. I think it is the coolest house I've ever rented. Internet was stable and fast

It's a simple but comfortable and roomy studio, surrounded by nature, with good beds and excellent shower. We ate in, the small kitchen is very handy. Easiest check in and check out ever: just arrive and leave. It's a great gateway to the Ring Road drive, especially after doing the Golden Circle on the first day.

The place was spotless, it was much bigger and nicer than we were expecting. We were really sad we only had the place for one evening as we would've loved to have it for longer!

The house was the best we booked last years: well equipped, very clean, comfortable and fit to requirements of a family. We felt ourself at home and definitely will come back soon. Garden and hot tube was an extra surprize. Location is also perfect.
