We had 2 weeks in Iceland and travelled around the country. We stayed in 5 different locations, all special and unique. But Gljásteinn was a little corner of paradise. Róbert built his house with so much passion and love and respect for the nature around it, it is very impressive. He was there to guide us, to give us some good tips about where to eat, what to explore, and the whole experience was simply wonderful.

Situated close to Reykholt in the South Iceland region, Blue View Cabin 5A With private hot tub has a terrace. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a fully equipped kitchen. One of the best places we've ever stayed at. Secluded, yet close to all the Golden circle attractions. Good heaters to dry your clothes after a rainy day. The hot tub is epic. Beautiful design inside. Easy to find and enter.

Blue View Cabin 5B With private hot tub is situated nearby Reykholt. This property offers access to a terrace. This holiday home has a patio, a living room and a flat-screen TV. First of all, that location was fantastic. A small cabin on top of the hill -just doesn’t get any better than that.  And the cabinet south was very compact, but with good use of space. The bed was exceptional (and I never rave about holiday beds!).

Set on the Golden Circle Region in South Iceland, this property is 2 km from the famous landmark Kerið. This house is amazing, spacious, comfortable, everything you need and more included. Location is very good. I think it is the coolest house I've ever rented. Internet was stable and fast

Located in Selfoss in the South Iceland region, Heima Holiday Homes has a patio. It is situated 42 km from Ljosifoss and features luggage storage space. What a wonderful stay! It's a simple but comfortable and roomy studio, surrounded by nature, with good beds and excellent shower. We ate in, the small kitchen is very handy. Easiest check in and check out ever: just arrive and leave. It's a great gateway to the Ring Road drive, especially after doing the Golden Circle on the first day.

Featuring a hot tub, Strýta Guesthouse is set in Hveragerði. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Spacious, comfortable and cozy. 5 min drive from a supermarket. Nice view and surroundings. Horses and dogs.

Situated just 44 km from Thingvellir National Park, BSG Apartments features accommodation in Selfoss with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as full-day security. This is a stunning apartment. The place was spotless, it was much bigger and nicer than we were expecting. We were really sad we only had the place for one evening as we would've loved to have it for longer!

Situated on a working farm in Skeidahreppur, Vorsabær 2 Holiday Home is 30 km from Selfoss town centre. The holiday house has a fully equipped kitchen and a private terrace with mountain views. The house was perfectly clean, good comunication, we also went for a horse ride. It was very good time spent there.

The house was the best we booked last years: well equipped, very clean, comfortable and fit to requirements of a family. We felt ourself at home and definitely will come back soon. Garden and hot tube was an extra surprize. Location is also perfect.
