We had 2 weeks in Iceland and travelled around the country. We stayed in 5 different locations, all special and unique. But Gljásteinn was a little corner of paradise. Róbert built his house with so much passion and love and respect for the nature around it, it is very impressive. He was there to guide us, to give us some good tips about where to eat, what to explore, and the whole experience was simply wonderful.

A small cabin on top of the hill -just doesn’t get any better than that.  And the cabinet south was very compact, but with good use of space. The bed was exceptional (and I never rave about holiday beds!).

Set on the Golden Circle Region in South Iceland, this property is 2 km from the famous landmark Kerið. I stayed in the Two-Bedroom Suite House with a hot tub, and it was an incredible experience. The room is spacious, measuring 93m², and features two bathrooms and two toilets—perfect for our group of three. The property offers breathtaking views, and the room is bright and impeccably clean. The hospitality was outstanding, with every detail exceeding expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a gift of champagne and Omnom chocolate, and we received a thoughtful thank-you note upon departure. These gestures truly highlighted the exceptional service. The location is ideal, close to must-see attractions like Gullfoss waterfall, Thingvellir National Park, and the geothermal geysers. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re hoping to see the Northern Lights.

Terletak 44km dari Taman Negara Thingvellir, BSG Apartments menawarkan taman, lounge berkongsi dan penginapan dengan patio dan WiFi percuma. This place is so spacious! It's great for the whole family. The living room is great to spend some time together in the evening after a long day travelling around the Golden Circle. The decor is a bit vintage, but it feels really cosy and totally worth the price. The apartment is well equipped for a shorter or longer stay. The city is quite small and the apartment is quite central, so you can easily access a great Food Hall for example. The host was really nice :)

Absolutely amazing place! About 40 mins from Reykjavik, right on the edge of the golden circle with Gulfoss and the Geisers in easy reach. Beds where comfy and soft pillows and linen. Jon the host is fantastic and really helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It’s really short drive from the main road but very private so you will feel secluded so you can enjoy hot tub and sauna. Everything is well described from how to find it as well as house manuals. Also dressing gowns are provided.
