Bjarmaland Cottages is your home away from home when you explore the Golden Circle and the South of Iceland. Beautifully decorated and cozy cottage in the small greenhouse village Laugarás. The cottage is a 25 square meter studio with living space, a sofa, and a well-equipped kitchen with a small dining table. There is a double bed in the space with a very comfortable Sleepy mattress. The bathroom is nice with a spacious shower.
Me and my husband Úlfar Örn worked in advertising for many years. For the last decade, we have been working with Úlfars art and running a small gallery. We lived in Reykjavík and also hosted many travelers in the city. In 2020 we decided to move to the countryside with our small gallery and now we also can host some guests in our cottages which we love to do.
Located in Laugarás a small village initially built up of greenhouse farmers. They settled here because of the areas hot water (geothermal area). In Laugarás there has been a medical center for a long time. Owners of Bjarmaland Cottages live on the farm and run a studio and an art gallery that is open for visitors.
