Koyasan Shukubo Daimyououin asub Koyasanis, 39 km kaugusel Tama muuseumist ja Kishi jaamast. Kohapeal on aed ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Külalised, kes sõidavad, saavad kasutada tasuta privaatset parklat.... We wanted to have a traditional experience as such. We loved the atmosphere. It calmed us down very quickly. The entity is managed by very little stuff. But they do their best to serve the small amount of guests well. Therefore one feels very familiar and cozy. In order to embrace every detail we recommend to join the morning ceremony and to visit the onsen. As a vegetarian I had no problem trying the whole menu provided. One could see that it’s been made with love. The rest of my family did not really enjoy the food, but also tried almost everything out of respect.

The temple is very peaceful, beautiful, the room was exactly what I was expecting. Such a great experience. Would come back to stay more days for sure. The monks are very kind and helpful. Love it

Situated in Koyasan in the Wakayama region, 宿坊 光明院 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Great experience, very interesting and cultural. Loved the food and the rooms. The monks are very nice and you can attend several rituals in the temple which is amazing.

Shirahama no Yado Daigo asub Shirahamas, 200 meetri kaugusel Shirahama rannast ja 1,2 km kaugusel Ezura rannast. Kogu majutusasutuses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Exceptional location - close to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. The staff was very friendly and helpful, went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The breakfast was freshly made daily and varied during our stay. Can not recommend this location enough.

Minshuku Sumiya asub Tanabes, kõigest 12 km kaugusel Hosshinmon Oji pühamust. Kohapeal on vabaõhuvann, baar ja majapidamisteenus. Great place to stay if you’re hiking or traveling around the area. The host was super friendly, the and the room and sheets were clean. We also dug our own onsen in the river just outside - but there’s also a public outdoor onsen by the river as well as an indoor one in the minshuku. I also learned that “Minshuku” refers to a type of traditional, family-run guesthouse or lodging. Staying at a minshuku typically involves a more personal and homely experience, with the hosts often preparing homemade meals (usually Japanese-style), and the atmosphere is usually casual and friendly - I think it was all those things.

Offering a garden and garden view, 高野山 宿坊 不動院 -Koyasan Shukubo Fudoin- is located in Koyasan, 45 km from Matsushita Park and 47 km from Subaru Hall. If you're venturing all the way to Koyasan, then complete the experience and immerse yourself in this memorable shukubo experience. The staff and monks are genuine and courteous. The lodging facilities are comfortable and refined with nice touches and attention to detail. The food, although vegetarian, is exquisite - amazing flavors and textures that will satisfy. Alcohol is also available at extra cost. The morning prayer service and sutra recitation is guided as is the Ajikan meditation session which follows. Fudo-in seems smaller than some other lodging venues, which makes it more attractive and quieter. Location is perfect for bus stop #8.

Hotell Kirinosato Takahara asub maailmapärandi nimistusse kuuluvast Kumano Kodo palverännakuteest vaid 2-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Wow. just amazing. The innkeeper became an instant friend, played Spanish guitar whilst terrific Japanese food served with fireplace and breathtaking views and nice Onsen

高野山 宿坊 桜池院 -Koyasan Shukubo Yochiin- on ajalooline tempel ja külalistele sobiv majutus. Hotell asub pühas Koya mäe piirkonnas. The room was brand new, with tatami floors and garden view. The staff was very welcoming and the morning buddhist ceremony was a wonderful experience (the monk explained the process in english and showed us the shrine afterwards). The public bath was very clean and enjoyable. The food was excellent !
