Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. It was my most extraordinery accomocation in Japan. We spent here 2 nights in the 2 room family suite with own bathroom. We used the small onsen on the groundfoor as well. (The tattoos was not problem there.) The vegan breakfasts and dinners were very delicious (even my son said, that it was great. 😀) The staff can speak quite good in english. The morning ceremony is a must, you can feel the peace in your heart. We took a walk in the sourrounding temples, cementary and in the mountains. This place is like an other world. I wish if all the world would be the same. Thank you for all!

Tuhat aastat vana budistlik tempel Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in pakub Jaapani stiilis majutust, kaunist aeda ja tasuta Wi-Fi-ühendust. The temple and grounds are stunningly beautiful. The room was the nicest I've had on this trip - comfortable and beautiful. The temple is cold but the heaters in the bedrooms made it very comfortable. The meals were delicious - again some of my best on my entire trip. They were very generous in sharing information about their religion and culture, and inviting tourists to participate in activities that helped us to better understand the life and routine at Ekoin. I appreciated the booklet in the room that explained how to navigate different things (e.g. the meditation, the morning service) so that I better understood. It was a special experience and was grateful for the opportunity to visit here.

Koyasan Shukubo Daimyououin asub Koyasanis, 39 km kaugusel Tama muuseumist ja Kishi jaamast. Kohapeal on aed ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Külalised, kes sõidavad, saavad kasutada tasuta privaatset parklat.... Silence and temple atmosphere. And food was just great :) Unforgetable experience.

Koyasan Shukubo Ryusenin asub Koyasanis, Kishi jaamast 39 km kaugusel. Majutusasutusest avaneb vaade aiale. Kolmetärnihotellis on aed ja konditsioneeriga toad, millel on ühine vannituba. Amazing place to stay. The morning prayer was definitely a highlight. Loved all of it. The temple is beautiful, with amazing gardens. The room was also very nice, spacious and well equipped. Staff was very kind. Dinner was served in a private dining room, the food was very nice (but if you cant eat Japanese food definitely bring something to eat as you cant buy anything at the temple). The onsen was modern and clean, men and women are separated. Thank you very much, would definitely recommend!

Situated in Koyasan in the Wakayama region, 宿坊 光明院 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Dinner had so many vegan dishes and they were delicious. Breakfast was smaller but still filling. It won't be a western breakfast. The futon ended up being comfy and warm but the halls were cold in the morning. I suggest arriving at the start of check in to take full advantage of everything there is (enjoying the pond, onsen, tea in room while reading the info on ceremonies). Location was great for the big 3 sites, if you don't mind walk 20 minutes in either direction.

Shirahama no Yado Daigo asub Shirahamas, 200 meetri kaugusel Shirahama rannast ja 1,2 km kaugusel Ezura rannast. Kogu majutusasutuses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Exceptional location - close to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. The staff was very friendly and helpful, went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The breakfast was freshly made daily and varied during our stay. Can not recommend this location enough.

Situated in Koyasan and only 39 km from Kishi Station, 高野山 真田坊 蓮華定院 -Koyasan Sanadabo Rengejoin- features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Wonderful experience and perfect facilities. A 6 star shrine

Offering a garden and garden view, 高野山 宿坊 不動院 -Koyasan Shukubo Fudoin- is located in Koyasan, 45 km from Matsushita Park and 47 km from Subaru Hall. We were very well received in the temple, with staff very polite and eager. The meals were perfect. The location was great to see koyasan by walking. Regarding koyasan, the temple and spirituality, it's is a must go.

Hotell Kirinosato Takahara asub maailmapärandi nimistusse kuuluvast Kumano Kodo palverännakuteest vaid 2-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Wonderful location ambience and so welcoming. Outstanding all round.
