Saizenin ligger i det hellige Koyasan-område og tilbyder enkel indkvartering omgivet af bjerge og mange templer. It was my most extraordinery accomocation in Japan. We spent here 2 nights in the 2 room family suite with own bathroom. We used the small onsen on the groundfoor as well. (The tattoos was not problem there.) The vegan breakfasts and dinners were very delicious (even my son said, that it was great. 😀) The staff can speak quite good in english. The morning ceremony is a must, you can feel the peace in your heart. We took a walk in the sourrounding temples, cementary and in the mountains. This place is like an other world. I wish if all the world would be the same. Thank you for all!

Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in ligger i et 1000 år gammelt buddhistisk tempel og kan tilbyde indkvartering i japansk stil, smuk have samt gratis wi-fi. The temple and grounds are stunningly beautiful. The room was the nicest I've had on this trip - comfortable and beautiful. The temple is cold but the heaters in the bedrooms made it very comfortable. The meals were delicious - again some of my best on my entire trip. They were very generous in sharing information about their religion and culture, and inviting tourists to participate in activities that helped us to better understand the life and routine at Ekoin. I appreciated the booklet in the room that explained how to navigate different things (e.g. the meditation, the morning service) so that I better understood. It was a special experience and was grateful for the opportunity to visit here.

Koyasan Shukubo Daimyououin ligger i Koyasan, under 39 km fra Tama Museum og 39 km fra Kishi Station. Der tilbydes indkvartering med have og gratis wi-fi overalt. Silence and temple atmosphere. And food was just great :) Unforgetable experience.

Koyasan Shukubo Ryusenin ligger i Koyasan, 39 km fra Kishi Station, og har udsigt til haven. Det 3-stjernede ryokan har have og værelser med aircondition og fælles badeværelse. Amazing place to stay. The morning prayer was definitely a highlight. Loved all of it. The temple is beautiful, with amazing gardens. The room was also very nice, spacious and well equipped. Staff was very kind. Dinner was served in a private dining room, the food was very nice (but if you cant eat Japanese food definitely bring something to eat as you cant buy anything at the temple). The onsen was modern and clean, men and women are separated. Thank you very much, would definitely recommend!

Det var et meget behageligt ophold. Flot tempel, meget velholdt og rart. Lækker forplejning. Ceremonierne var meget spændende og smukke at deltage i. Fint Onsen. Meget anbefalelsesværdigt.

Shirahama no Yado Daigo ligger i Shirahama, under 200 meter fra Shirahama-stranden og 1,2 km fra Ezura Strand. Der tilbydes gratis WiFi overalt på ejendommen. Exceptional location - close to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. The staff was very friendly and helpful, went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The breakfast was freshly made daily and varied during our stay. Can not recommend this location enough.

Minshuku Sumiya ligger kun 12 km fra Hosshinmon Oji-helligdommen og tilbyder indkvartering i Tanabe med adgang til udendørs bad, bar samt rengøringsservice. Koyasan Shukubo Fudoin ligger i Koyasan, under 800 meter fra Kongobu-ji-templet og 1,7 km fra Nyonindo. Der tilbydes indkvartering med have samt gratis privat parkering for gæster, der ankommer i bil.... We were very well received in the temple, with staff very polite and eager. The meals were perfect. The location was great to see koyasan by walking. Regarding koyasan, the temple and spirituality, it's is a must go.

Hotel Kirinosato Takahara har udendørs og indendørs varme kilder, kun 2 minutters gang fra Kumano Kodo Pilgrimsruterne, der står opført på UNESCO's verdensarvsliste. Wonderful location ambience and so welcoming. Outstanding all round.
