高野山 宿坊 大明王院 -Koyasan Shukubo Daimyououin- se encuentra en Koyasan, a 39 km de Kishi Station y a 45 km de Matsushita Park. We wanted to have a traditional experience as such. We loved the atmosphere. It calmed us down very quickly. The entity is managed by very little stuff. But they do their best to serve the small amount of guests well. Therefore one feels very familiar and cozy. In order to embrace every detail we recommend to join the morning ceremony and to visit the onsen. As a vegetarian I had no problem trying the whole menu provided. One could see that it’s been made with love. The rest of my family did not really enjoy the food, but also tried almost everything out of respect.

The temple is very peaceful, beautiful, the room was exactly what I was expecting. Such a great experience. Would come back to stay more days for sure. The monks are very kind and helpful. Love it

El Shirahama no Yado Daigo está situado en Shirahama, a 200 metros de la playa de Shirahama y a 1,2 km de la playa de Ezura, y ofrece conexión WiFi gratuita en todas sus instalaciones. Exceptional location - close to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. The staff was very friendly and helpful, went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The breakfast was freshly made daily and varied during our stay. Can not recommend this location enough.

Minshuku Sumiya está muy bien situado en el barrio de Kawayu Onsen, Tanabe, a 12 km de Hosshinmon Oji Shrine, a 20 km de Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art y a 23 km de Kumanoshi Kiwakozan Museum. Great place to stay if you’re hiking or traveling around the area. The host was super friendly, the and the room and sheets were clean. We also dug our own onsen in the river just outside - but there’s also a public outdoor onsen by the river as well as an indoor one in the minshuku. I also learned that “Minshuku” refers to a type of traditional, family-run guesthouse or lodging. Staying at a minshuku typically involves a more personal and homely experience, with the hosts often preparing homemade meals (usually Japanese-style), and the atmosphere is usually casual and friendly - I think it was all those things.

高野山 宿坊 不動院 -Koyasan Shukubo Fudoin- se encuentra en Koyasan, a 38 km de Kishi Station y a 45 km de Matsushita Park. Ofrece alojamiento con jardín y parking privado gratis. If you're venturing all the way to Koyasan, then complete the experience and immerse yourself in this memorable shukubo experience. The staff and monks are genuine and courteous. The lodging facilities are comfortable and refined with nice touches and attention to detail. The food, although vegetarian, is exquisite - amazing flavors and textures that will satisfy. Alcohol is also available at extra cost. The morning prayer service and sutra recitation is guided as is the Ajikan meditation session which follows. Fudo-in seems smaller than some other lodging venues, which makes it more attractive and quieter. Location is perfect for bus stop #8.

Un lugar increíble, el dueño habla español , súper simpático, la comida fantástica, onsen también. Un lugar que recordaremos .

El 高野山 宿坊 桜池院 -Koyasan Shukubo Yochiin- ocupa un histórico templo situado en la zona sagrada del monte Koya. The room was brand new, with tatami floors and garden view. The staff was very welcoming and the morning buddhist ceremony was a wonderful experience (the monk explained the process in english and showed us the shrine afterwards). The public bath was very clean and enjoyable. The food was excellent !
