A Kiotóban, a Sanjusangen-do templomtól 800 méterre található Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei kerttel, allergiamentes szobákkal és az egész épületben ingyenes wifivel várja vendégeit. Friendly, attentive, helpful and responsive staff, it helps that most of them speak English; the rooms were big; the cypress wood bathtub was a delightful highlight of our stay; the view outside North building of the guesthouse as seen in the photo attached was lovely.

A személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész, a check-in közben mindent részletesen elmagyaráznak. A szobák meseszépek, tiszták, az egyedüli dolog amit megbántunk, hogy nem több éjszakára jöttünk. Mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom :)

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. People very very nice. I really enjoy it, so peaceful.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Awesome stay at a Japanese ryokan. Great welcome when arrived. Really nice spacious room with awesome decorations Great meals in the rooms. Access to two private onsens in Morizuya. Get a pass to the various onsens in Kinosaki, and get to walk around town in a yukata. Kinosaki was an awesome town to wander around.

The room was extremely beautiful, big and clean. We enjoyed almost all additional activities offered by the property, such as morning religious service, fire ritual, traditional dinner and breakfeast and everything was amazing, Koya is a small town so you don have to walk long distance to see all the atractions. The most beautiful Okonuin cemetery is just a few minutes walk.

Ryokan Sumiya Kihoan offers a hot spring bath and a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Kameoka, 13 km from Keirin-ji Temple. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle... I loved this Ryokan - it was a little far from town but that is what we were wanting. It was so beautiful and a great experience for Japanese culture. I loved experiencing the traditional breakfast. The tea and treat you get at the start was also super fun. The private onsen was amazing and great for people with tattoos

Set within less than 1 km of Sanjusangen-do Temple and 2 km of TKP Garden City Kyoto, Vegan Minshuku Sanbiki Neko offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kyoto. Helen and Craig are the most delightful people I’ve ever met! I’d come back to Kyoto just to spend a few more days at their lovely stay. They’re warm, welcoming and go above & beyond to make you feel at home. They were not only kind enough to accommodate my luggage needs on a Sunday afternoon after check out, but Craig even drove me to the railway station & gave me a hand with the suitcases since it was raining, even though he didn’t have to. They really the kindest folks. Their breakfasts could honestly be classified as gourmet food. Cooked fresh and served hot - delicious and healthy. Even if you’re not vegan, you’ll absolutely adore their food! The place is beautiful with thoughtful feline art adorning it. The rooms are minimalistic in a Japanese style & have comfortable futon beds and are squeaky clean. A short 10 minute walk to the bus station. The cats are the cherry on top. Highly highly recommend them.

Situated in Koyasan in the Wakayama region, 宿坊 光明院 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. I wish I could have stayed longer in the temple! A very authentic experience with the room only being heated by a heat pump. Great location in the middle of all of the attractions. The food experience was also amazing: sitting on a mat in nicely decorated chamber with bamboo walls separating from other members staying in the temple. I also had the chance of bathing in the onsen which was amazing to have it onsite!
