Helen and Craig are very nice and thoughtful hosts. They were very kind, one of the days I had to leave before breakfast time so I would miss it and they made sure I had something delicious I could take away the next morning so that made me very happy. All of the products they use are vegan (soap, conditioner, shampoo,etc). My room had a huge closet and I could fit my suitcases in it so they weren’t in the middle of the room, I had a little balcony and private bathroom in my room which is very rare in B&B. They offer Japanese style breakfast, made with love and it has all the details, it was so delicious and filling. I stayed with a non vegan japanese friend and he even said he would turn vegan if he could get that food everyday!☺️ I wish I stayed for longer in Kyoto! I’ll be back💜🌱

We wanted to have a traditional experience as such. We loved the atmosphere. It calmed us down very quickly. The entity is managed by very little stuff. But they do their best to serve the small amount of guests well. Therefore one feels very familiar and cozy. In order to embrace every detail we recommend to join the morning ceremony and to visit the onsen. As a vegetarian I had no problem trying the whole menu provided. One could see that it’s been made with love. The rest of my family did not really enjoy the food, but also tried almost everything out of respect.

高野山 宿坊 龍泉院 -Koyasan Shukubo Ryusenin- se nachází v destinaci Kojasan a nabízí pokoje s výhledem do zahrady. Jen 38 km odtud je Kishi Station. Staying in a temple was a great experience. The temple was gorgeous, the monks were welcoming, the food was delicious, and the room was big and comfortable. We were invated to participate in the morning ceromony. I appreciated that they provided explanations afterwards so that we could fully enjoyed it.

The room si beautiful old Japanese style room, bed was very comfortable, amenities are generous and various. The location is perfect, near to accommodation in the center of the famous gion district. Hosts are very kind and fully available. We spent a wonderful stay.
