Jozankei Onsen Yurakusoan er staðsett í Jozankei, 27 km frá Sapporo-stöðinni og býður upp á gistingu með heilsulind og vellíðunaraðstöðu, ókeypis einkabílastæði, baði undir berum himni og... Oh my gosh.. where do I begin. A beautiful ryokan with both public and private onsens with fantastic winter views. Dinner was a huge kaiseki meal with sashimi, steamed seafood, beef sukiyaki and various appetisers. The rooms and the entire resort was elegantly decorated at every turn. The best part that topped off the day and experience is the ramen offering at 10pm for supper.

Chalet Ivy Jozankei offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 27 km of Sapporo Station and 33 km of Shin-Sapporo Station. Possibly one of our best hotel stays ever. The hotel has a quiet beauty right out of a postcard, the staff are amazing and the food sublime. They did everything to make our stay perfect. The food is one of the best I ever had at a hotel, but western travellers should make sure to set expectations regarding the food which is very japanese, it was always interesting and perfectly executed but pushed us to our limits in some cases :)

Located in Niseko, within 22 km of Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area and 16 km of Niseko Annupuri Hot Spring, Zaborin provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as... The privacy, quietness, being surrounded by nature and attentiveness of the staff.

Log Hotel Larch Lake Kanayama er staðsett á hæð og býður upp á viðarhús og svítur á tveimur hæðum með svölum, útsýni yfir vatnið og ókeypis WiFi. Cosy bed and spacious log home with fresh snow. Staff is very polite. Our kids love it so very much. They wish to come back again. It is very quite and private. The location is close to lake Kanayama which is very beautiful.

Ryotei Hanayura has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Noboribetsu, 45 km from Lake Toya. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and a housekeeping service. The service was spectacular. Every detail of the kaiseki dinner was special, it was in the private room and the access was easy and with privacy. We got a bedroom with a private onsen. The temperature of the water was perfect. You have to choose the hour of the dinner and breakfast, then I understood the reason, it was meticulously prepared for you.

Boasting open-air hot spring baths and ocean views, Wakamatsu Hot Spring Resort is a 15-minute drive from JR Hakodate Station. Free parking is available on site. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing. The food is some of the best Washoku I have had in a long long time. The room had a massive double king bed and a beautiful view of the ocean. The private onsen was also so amazing. Apparently, one of the taxi drivers my partner and I took mentioned that Emperor Hirohito back in Showa 1954 had apparently stayed at this location many years ago. That should pretty much describe how amazing this place is.

Surrounded by lush nature, luxury Japanese-style hotel Niseko Kombu Onsen Tsuruga Mokunosho features a hot spring bath and rooms with mountain views and free Wi-Fi, some with a private open-air bath. This is a stunning property. Very private location but close to all amenities. The staff were exemplary.

Hotel Kifu Hotel Shiretoko er í 10 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Shiretoko-þjóðgarðinum sem er á heimsminjaskrá UNESCO. It’s a small hotel running by the family, who are so nice and polite.

Mimatsuso Ryokan er í 5 mínútna akstursfjarlægð með ókeypis skutlu frá JR Asahikawa-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á gistirými í japönskum stíl á viðráðanlegu verði. The accommodation was wonderful and the staff exceptionally hospitable and friendly.

Club Jozankei er 5 km frá Sapporo-vatni og býður upp á rúmgóð herbergi með tatami-gólfi (ofinn hálmur), vestrænum rúmum og ókeypis LAN-Interneti. This was the perfect place to enjoy the traditional ryokan experience in an upscale and comfortable setting. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They worked through the language barrier to update our stay when our trip changed and explain the bus schedule to us. Facilites were luxurious and the dinner was incredible! I wish we could have stayed for more than 1 night in order to fully enjoy the property and surrounding area but 100% recommend to book. I will go out of my way to return my next time in Hokkaido!
