We stayed there for two nights and it was a very satisfying and pleasant experience. Exceptional service and hospitality from staff. The onsens were relaxing and beautiful. We loved the private bath to enjoy as a family. The room was immaculate and the view amazing. 10 out of 10!

A lovely small hotel facing the Sea of Okhotsk where you can see a beautiful sunset right in front of your room. The Japanese-style room is spacious with a large window facing the sea. The private open bath is excellent. At dinner, you get the chance to make a variety of tempura by yourself which is kind of fun. This hotel is not far from Oshinkoshin Waterfalls and the Shiretoko Nature Center and the five lakes. I will definitely come back again, perhaps in mid-February to see the ice floes in front of this hotel.

The Japanese breakfast is delicious - they are able to cater my dietary concern. I appreciate that they offered hot tea and biscuit when I returned to the room after full day out.

Featuring natural hot-spring baths and fresh Japanese meals, Kashoutei Hanaya Ryokan offers spacious rooms overlooking the Oyunuma River. It was the best place I could have chosen for my birthday. It was very comfortable and the entire staff was very attentive, they wrote a message wishing me a happy birthday and gave me a souvenir photo. I was very excited and I wasn't expecting it 🥰🥰🥰
