Situated within 5.9 km of Estadio Enrique Torres Belon and 5.9 km of Puno Port, Luz del Titicaca Lodge features rooms in Puno. Joel was amazing, from making the booking to the actual two night stay. He went out of his way to make sure we were picked up safely from Puno when we arrived late at night and gave us thick blankets on the boat to the island as it was a chilly night. He personally took us around the islands the next day so that we could experience the culture and traditions and even showed us fishing! Would recommend to anyone interested in learning about the Uros traditions and also want to experience tranquillity and amazing sunsets. The accommodation was spacious and bedding comfortable. Thick blankets, hot water bottles and a gas heater provided for the cold nights.

Only 50 metres from Puno’s Main Square, Tierra Viva Puno Plaza offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and plasma TVs. The Cathedral and Jiron Lima Main Street are 50 metres away. This was such a charming boutique hotel, so conveniently located. Service was exceptional! I wish I could have spent more time there, but we had plans elsewhere. Recommend without hesitation!

This was a surprise actually, didn’t know what to expect but it’s a really nice well kept hotel away from the chaos of the city. Our room was modest and although we only had one night here on our transit to Cusco, it’ll be high on my list when we go back. The staff is also very welcoming and pleasant.

The foremost thing we liked were the family (Juan, Elsa and their amazing children). They were super kind and what they have build on their island is amazing. The typical boat tour was super interesting and de textile workshop was interesting, but a little expensive for what it contains. The food Elsa cooked was amazing and delicious. The room was better than expected. The view is great and the beds are comfortable.

Can't recommend this place for a visit. Cusco and even Lima was much better. Puno don't have what to offer to the tourists. Titicaca is nothing extra ordinary - simple dirty lake with the rubbish shores. Just for one day visit and no more!
