Both Luis and his mother Anna were lovely, accommodating and couldn’t do more for us; from wrapping me up at the dock as we headed at night fall to bringing us hot water bottles in the night. Luis helped to arrange a tour for us to take us to Taquille Island and other parts of Lake Titicaca and the breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner whilst with them for an additional price which was basic but enjoyable.

Puno és un poble més aviat lleig. Va ser més encertat dormir als Uros directament (us recomano Uros Qhantany, d'en Wilber).
La situació a la vora del Llac Titicaca és inmillorable. El problema és que està a 40 km de Puno (que no val la pena) i aixó fa que un cop allà no es pugui visitar res més que el propi llac. És però molt recomanable i fàcil llogar una llanxa particular que fa el recorregut a Illa Takile i Illes Flotantes de los Uros, i aixó sí que val la pena.
Puno es horrible. Muy feo. Y el paseo por titicaca, eso, una experiencia, porque lo de dormir en chabolas es duro.
Puno té un casc antic bonic però el seu encant radica a la zona del Llac des d'on pots fer forces excursions a les illes.
Molt bon hotel a tocar de la Plaça d’Armes de Puno. En em nostre cas, ens varen donar una habitació molt gran amb un llit enorme que va fer que quedessim encants. Molt bona opció dins de Puno!

The amenities the attention of the staff the restaurant food. This is a very nice hotel well kept and would stay again if in Puno. Its also one of the two high end hotels in Puno.

We stayed at Sol Plaza Hotel for one night before our 2-day excursion to the Uros Floating Islands. We were very impressed with the facilities that Sol Plaza Hotel offered. They allowed us to keep our bags for 2 nights and even called a taxi for us to take us to the Kalpajra port. The breakfast included was scrumptious, and the location is super close to the beautiful Plaza de Armas, surrounded by restaurants. It's also convenient to get a mobile plan with Claro and access ATMs nearby. When we returned from Uros, retrieving our bags was no problem, and the reception even helped us call a taxi to the bus terminal. Highly recommended!

This is probably one of my favorite hotels I have ever been to. The staff is always here to help and are very professional and well trained. The hotel and amenities are really beautiful and the location could not be better as the hotel is right on lake titicaca facing isla taquile. The food was good and all the little additional attentions were appreciated (5pm service with delicious cocktails or wines to be enjoyed near a brasero outside or inside, after dinner tea service, welcome drinks…they were too many to list !)
Reasonably clean hotel and staff were attentive. Secure parking was provided for the car close by. Breakfast was OK. Most facilities worked as they should have. Place is very secure. Elevator and stairs for access to floors.
Everything was just as indicated in the photos, perfect room with lovely terrasse and a magic view. Julio was the best host I have ever seen !! he was always there for us, tried everything he can to help us plan the activities and has been so so kind and patient !! the food was really good. We really appreciated the whole experience with Julio.
