Eder was really interesting to talk to and explained all about the way of living on the islands, the history and current life. Both Luis and his mother Anna were lovely, accommodating and couldn’t do more for us; from wrapping me up at the dock as we headed at night fall to bringing us hot water bottles in the night. Luis helped to arrange a tour for us to take us to Taquille Island and other parts of Lake Titicaca and the breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner whilst with them for an additional price which was basic but enjoyable.

Host family is one the most amazing families I met, humble and very hard working, trying their best to give us the best experiences in Lake Titicaca. Very responsible host. I highly recommend! In fact, I booked another trip to stay with them in 2 months with my family. One of the most important things I like is the excellent communication between the host and us before and during the stay, the ability to understand English makes things so much easier.
