The owners also recommended an Italian restaurant 3 minutes walk away, and even reserved a table for us. The food and staff there were amazing too! Villa Patria is a little gem! Can highly recommend!

We got a really nice room upgrade which was very kind! The hotel is situated on the lake Lugano, and features great views! Rooms are super clean, staff is very polite, mattress is comfortable, WiFi is quite fast. Breakfast was also OK. There is also a large garage where we parked our car. Will be back!

The location is closed to city center and easy to walk around. The staffs were very helpful. The room is comfortable and quiet even the room on the lake side that is closed to the street. Also the BF is at expectation.

What a truly special place. They have thought of every detail! Beds very comfortable and rooms really clean, and the spot is magical. Love all the common areas outside the rooms and so nice how they have laid out books and games and all. Breakfast was delicious - esp the homemade jams and homemade granola. I loved the family atmosphere this hotel provides. The rooms were nicely decorated. The staff was remarkably helpful. I asked for help with a doctor appointment for my wife and they were very cooperative and called and made the appointment. I very much appreciate their support throughout my stay. special thanks to Julian for going out of his way to help out.
This was one of the best stays we had recently. To start, we had a great reception by Giuseppe. He made sure to show us around the property and tell us everything about it. Everyone from the staff was very polite and made our experience even better. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, but we got an upgrade to a better room if we would wait a bit longer, which wasn’t a problem for us. The place had the most beautiful view of Colina D’Oro. They have a good underground parking space, that was much needed due to the heat.
Excellent amenities and good location for dining and walking to the park. Kind staff and excellent breakfast. Very much appreciated this hotel still provides little goods-such as a comb, lotion, vanity, etc. as so many hotels are no longer doing so.
