What a lovely hotel in the heart of the city. So conveniently located downtown, right above /on the funicular station, and still quiet - so easy to get up/down to the train/bus station in less than 5 minutes. Conveniently located right next to the lake, park, historical old town, restaurants, stores. So tidy and clean, and thoughtful. My room was tiny with some window over the roof view, but so ergonomic and comfortable, Breakfast was delicious with quite a variety. But most of all - hotel staff, so polite, courteous and welcoming. I loved my little treat upon arrival and safety kit in the room with complimentary water too.
The family-run Hotel Delfino has a privileged location close to the lake shore and next to the pedestrian area which leads into the heart of the city of Lugano.

We loved our stay here! The hotel is exceptionally beautiful and modern with an outstanding staff and atmosphere. The views our spectacular and the food was delicious as well.
The hotel is managed by a nice and funny couple. The place has a lot of cachet and is very personal to the owners/managers. The owner is cooking himself and I can only recommend to eat at the Pensione Agra, which serves ticinese (local) food. The place is located in a very calm village, almost at the end of the main road - it's very calm. The most pleasant part was the amazing sunrise that you can admire, with the scenic view enhanced by the small chapel located next to the hotel.
Beautiful location overlooking the mountains of Lugano, The hotel itself was beautiful as well and the Spa very comfortable. The staff in the hotel were super friendly and helpful...and dealt with everything in the most skillfull way.
