We highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back again. Good local breakfast, nicely furnished rooms, very comfortable beds, parking, prts friendly, help in solving problems and recommendations for visiting the sureounding. They all speak excellent Italian, German and English. The family restaurant was the best culinary experience in the italian part of Switzerland for us so far. Thank you

After a long day of hiking we arrived in the cute village of Miglieglia and got immediately enchanted by the Casa San Stefano and it's very welcoming invite. Old, historical building. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and received an upgrade of the room we had booked. Authentic, well-decorated interior. After a very peaceful night, we enjoyed the amazing breakfast with fresh, healthy ingredients and plenty of choice. Would i recommend the place? Definitely!

Lovely hotel but a hot tub and a masseur would have made all the difference
The room was super comfortable and clean! The breakfast was ok! The two things I liked most was: the location (super near city center) and the staffs (who gave me a free ticket for public transportation and a discount for San Salvatore Lift that was the most amazing thing I did in Lugano). They also allowed me to do late checkout for free. I would hardly recommend it!
The staff are kind and informative. The rooms are good. We got a connecting room with comfortable beds. There are 2 bathrooms which are convenient.

Amazing old hotel with old furniture in public areas and modern in bedroom. Lots of historical photos of hotel on display. Honesty bar, which I haven't seen for many years. Very good breakfast.

We got a really nice room upgrade which was very kind! The hotel is situated on the lake Lugano, and features great views! Rooms are super clean, staff is very polite, mattress is comfortable, WiFi is quite fast. Breakfast was also OK. There is also a large garage where we parked our car. Will be back!

I have been living in Switzerland for quite some time now, and I have come to know the warm and welcoming nature of the Swiss people. However, your staff took it to another level. It was my birthday, and I was feeling sad and lonely after a recent breakup. However, your staff's kindness and warmth made me forget all my troubles. I loved the family atmosphere this hotel provides. The rooms were nicely decorated. The staff was remarkably helpful. I asked for help with a doctor appointment for my wife and they were very cooperative and called and made the appointment. The staff were really armazing, so friendly! The location is fantastic with stunning views and really good hiking opportunities for different levels (nothing super flat though). a great pool and good treatments at the spa! Food was delicious too!
Excellent amenities and good location for dining and walking to the park. Kind staff and excellent breakfast. Very much appreciated this hotel still provides little goods-such as a comb, lotion, vanity, etc. as so many hotels are no longer doing so.
