I absolutely loved my overnight stay at Berggasthaus Eggberge. From the moment you step into the cable car up the moment, you’re literally being transported to a more serene, more peaceful and beautiful version of the world. The views are simply stunning, the staff and owners incredibly friendly. I also highly recommend Andy’s Brew, the owners very own beer. It’s delicious:) Wish I’d stayed a few more days to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Stayed during carnival days, visited other location on non-carbival days (by train). the city itself is 1, 2 at the most, days visit. Centrally located, and easy access to many location in central Switzerland.
Considering the prices in Switzerland are much higher than most other countries we found that the Tell Pass was well worth it. This allowed us to travel through most of central Switzerland visiting the majority of the Alps as non skiiers.
If you visiting Luzern then no need of going anywhere in Switzerland like Mt. Jungfrajouch etc. Luzern is a Central Switzerland and with full of nature like Mountains ( Mt. Titlis, Mt. Rigi, Mt. A small but beautiful town/city aptly located to move around central Switzerland. With the train station, bus station and lake close to each other, its really easy to travel to and from the accommodation as well as to the many excursions Switzerland has to offer. Enjoyed being in Luzern so much that we felt that we should have stayed more, so will surely come back

Great location for touring central Switzerland including day trips to Interlaken, lauterbrunnun and Engleburg. The convenience of the regular train and boat was also a massive advantage.
Luzern is a great base to explore central Switzerland and the mountain regions around the beautiful Vierwaldstätter Lake. It is a beautiful, old, open city, easily accessed by boat or train, has many pedestrian walkways with a relaxed atmosphere. A great base/ start/ finishing point also for the Swiss Path around the Lake. We love Luzern in all seasons!

Naiara the front lady is the nicest person, she went above and beyond to accommendate us, as such we extended our stay by another night. I would give 11 stars if I could!
Very well maintained resort with so much to do
Location is just perfect! If you’re using public transport to get there, the bus stop is only 2 minutes from the hotel. Mesmerizing view from the balcony, beautiful garden and interiors of the hotel. Staff is very nice and helpful. There is a small supermarket couple minutes from the hotel. Definitely worth to visit. Our stay was exceptional.
