STUNNING lodge and location!! Staff were exceptional - exceeded our expectations the whole stay. They were accommodating and understanding of a late check-out due to our trip up to Fronalpstock and hitting bad weather which set us back late for check-out. The lodge was super cosy, comfortable and the facilities - Saunas were exceptional, well needed and our favourite part aside form the hike. The view from our room was sensational.. I could go on and on!! We only wish we had stayed longer.

I enjoyed my short visit to this town in central Switzerland. Visit the old city, the Rosengart Museum, the Franziskaner Kirche, the Jesuitenkirche, Sankt Peterskapelle, and the Hofkirche. Remember that Lucerne was an important site for the Roman Catholic counterreformation that occurred at the time of the Protestant reformation during the 16th century; its ecclesiastic architecture reflects this. Look for classical music concerts; they are abundant here. Since it was raining during my visit, I did not take a cruise along Lake Lucerne. Hiking up Pilatus would have also been fun had the weather been drier.
Great city to be based in because it's in central Switzerland. From here you can take many inter regional trains to other cities for your travels. Beautiful town with easy access to the transport system.

JP the host is like your guardian angel. He's like your father in Switzerland who will provide everything you ca ever imagine.i honestly can say his hospitality is beyond imagination. He picked and dropped us from the station so many times. He had so many surprises for the kids. This is must visit when in Central Switzerland.

The view from the balcony overlooking the Vierwaldstättesee was marvellous. There was very easy access to the mountains from the village. The property was well situated for car trips in central Switzerland with ready access to the highway. The property itself was well equipped.

The hotel is large and beautiful. All common places are so nice and welcoming. The food is great. The room was large, comfortable bed and we were given wine and treats upon arrival. Most of all, the spa is just amazing. It is huge with 5 saunas I think. Everything is super clean and comfy. They even give soup so you will restore lost electrolytes. The pool is great, and the outside hot tub is on the spot. There are many relaxation areas too. The ridge walk was the most beautiful trail I have ever walked. This is well worth the travel. Overall the value is amazing and the cost is lower than expected in Switzerland. 10/10.

Amazing location and feel good athmosphere
Location just 20minutes from Lucerne city, view was excellent, especially when winter season, all covered by snow, value of money, we chose holiday home and suitable for family comfortable to cook your own food, pool was awesome surrounded by snow and water was warm, kids were very happy and really enjoyed all facilities, very suitable for family with kids

In one word, perfect!! In 3 words, heaven on earth. The hotel is amazing, the view cannot be captured by any photos. A luxurious hotel, yet the elegance is not extravagant. The staff is amazing, never seen such a willingness to help and serve, they are so nice I cannot find the words. The breakfast is amazing, the infinity pool is breathtaking, and the view and location are amazing. One of the best hotels I've been to. Felt like home and I miss it already. Looking forward to my next time there.
