Breakfast employees were very kind and polite. And the location of the hotel is just perfect. I didnt do much so I dont know about activities there but you can walk there very nice.

The location of this hotel is amazing. Our room was on the top floor and waking up to the view was a dream.
The staff are excellent - so friendly and always smiling. Excellent customer service.
The self check-in is super easy. It's not like other hotels where there aren't staff around. There are staff in the restaurant and bar. Once you book, you will receive a confirmation email - at this stage give all your details (ID etc) so the check in goes super smoothly. I don't usually like a self check-in hotel but I would have no hesitation recommending this one.
The food in the hotel is excellent. I had the same dish two nights in a row, it was so good!!
Parking is excellent - secure underground parking and a connecting door to the hotel.
While there is no air-conditioning, you can open the windows. I always want air conditioning but I happily sacrificed it for this beautiful experience.
The train and bus station is a short 5-10 minute walk which takes you to Lucerne (it takes about half an hour).
I don't usually go back to the same place twice but I'd definitely go back to this little gem!

It is a small town with not many tourists when we visited.
It is a small town with not many tourists when we visited. You won't find any typical souvenir shops here (with fridge magnets, key chains, cow bells etc.). Also, every supermarket is closed on Sunday, so plan accordingly.

Sarnen is so beautiful with lush green hillsides, breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps, pretty streams and a peaceful lake. There are lovely walking trails and parks with boating activities and fantastic amenities. We were only able to stay a short while, but enjoyed a delicious dinner at Molini's, which we highly recommend. Everything we needed for our brief visit was within walking distance, or easy walk to the nearby train station.

Sarnen is a lovely little town, with a wide range of shops, two supermarkets and a garage. There are lots of walks in the surrounding area which are well signposted. A small river runs through the centre. The town has a range of restaurants. It was very well situated for our overnight stop on a drive down to Italy.
The property was terrific; it was prepared with all the items. The fantastic owner was very exceptional in the way how he looked after the customers, gave daily recommendations, and free bread daily, and daily checked in on us through WhatsApp. I think he raised the level of the service to a new standard that seven-star hotel won't achieve
The location was beautiful. It was nice to have a couple of days to relax in the spa since travelling Europe. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which allows wasy access to the train station. Staff were lovely and the food was great. Would highly recommend!
Very nice, modern room, with plenty of space. On site restaurant offers very good food. In addition the hotel was very accommodating - not only they served breakfast earlier on the half marathon day, but they included pasta in the offer!
