The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

Borneo Jungle Adventure ligger i Kinabatangan och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi. Som gäst har du tillgång till en terrass och grillmöjligheter. Linda was a wonderful host and a knowledgeable guide, the food was good and we saw all the animals that we wanted to see during the river trips

The Last Frontier Boutique Resort ligger på en 100 meter hög kulle med utsikt över Kinabatangan Forest Reserve i Bilit, 2 timmars bilresa från den vackra Sandakan. Every people are so friendly and nice! Hospitality is great. Due to this hospitality, you feel safe and you can enjoy jangle without fear. Sound of insects, birds and nature things are so great in and around guest house. You use all your seances and you find your own new ability. I went with 74 years old grandfather and 70 years old grandmother. They did not expect such a jangle adventure, but they are so happy about this stay and they enjoyed a lot, but you need to take about 500 steps to the guest house though. Now they have more confidence to try everything. We saw many other European tourist on the river cruse boat. Many of them had grey hair. How old you are, you can enjoy this place and experience if you are open to new things. I went with 4, 8, 11 years old kids too. They enjoyed too. They loved pancake so much. Thank you for meeting allergy request too. Communication before trip was also very nice and quick. Thank you again for the great experience!

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort ligger i Sepilok och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool som är öppen året om och en bar. Really amazing place to stay near all of the sights in Sepilok. I chose to walk everywhere and it seemed to be in a pretty central location. Food was tasty and staff was friendly.

D' Limbai Cottage ligger i Ranau i regionen Sabah och erbjuder boende med gratis privat parkering. På D' Limbai Cottage finns en terrass som du kan använda. Comfortable dining room with complete kitchen facilities. Comfortable and very clean room complete with iron, hair dryer,kettle. Stunning and wonderful view of Mount Kinabalu. Definitely will stay again. The owner/host very nice and helpful.

Nulu View Cabin ligger i Kundasang i regionen Sabah och erbjuder boende med gratis privat parkering. This place had a beautiful view of Mt. Kinabatangan and the owners were really nice.

Kinabatangan Wildlife Lodge ligger i Sandakan i regionen Sabah och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. Vi älskade personalen och turerna, dom väckte oss så vi inte skulle missa det vilda elefanterna som gick förbi vilket var ett stort plus!!! Så engagerade!!

Maglami-lami Water House ligger i Semporna och erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet samt en restaurang. Det finns ett fullt utrustat eget badrum med en bidé och tofflor. Just living on the water. No sand, no bugs, just simple wooden floor and tourquise sea beneath your feet. And the staff is just one of a kind. If you need anything, they are there to assist you. But if you want your mind to chill, they just let you be. No small talk, no pretended kindness, no hustle. Perfection.

Tampat do Aman är omgivet av frodig grönska och erbjuder boende i Kg Tiga Papan, 30 km från Kudat. Boendet erbjuder upphämtning mot en extra kostnad (se det finstilta). Howard was an exceptional host. From the minute we arrived, he made us feel settled and showed us around the area. He offered to bring us every morning to wherever we wanted to go along the tip of Borneo. The jungle camp itself is so special and there is a great vibe amongst the other travellers. We would have loved to stay longer but we needed to catch the bus to Sandakan (and they don’t go very often!)
