The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

Linda was a wonderful host and a knowledgeable guide, the food was good and we saw all the animals that we wanted to see during the river trips

Staðsett á 100 metra hæð með útsýni yfir Kinabatangan-skógarfriðlandið. The Last Frontier Boutique Resort er staðsett í Bilit, í 2 klukkustunda akstursfjarlægð frá hinu fallega Sandakan. Everything was exceptional, a very unique jungle resort that we will be visiting again for sure.

Bayu Senja Lodge er staðsett í Kundasang á Sabah-svæðinu og býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. its on top of the hill, with a good ciew of the villages snd the mount of KK. Every facilities are available, and the staff was quiet nice too. I enjoyed staying there, and would be willing to go next time.

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort er staðsett í Sepilok og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug sem er opin allt árið um kring og bar. Great place to stay, good food, very nice stuff!:)

D' Limbai Cottage er staðsett í Ranau á Sabah-svæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis einkabílastæði. Gestir geta nýtt sér verönd smáhýsisins. Comfortable dining room with complete kitchen facilities. Comfortable and very clean room complete with iron, hair dryer,kettle. Stunning and wonderful view of Mount Kinabalu. Definitely will stay again. The owner/host very nice and helpful.

Nulu View Cabin er staðsett í Kundasang á Sabah-svæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis einkabílastæði. Wake up with MT.Kinabalu view.have a small kitchen can cook some simple food.

Kinabatangan Wildlife Lodge er staðsett í Sandakan á Sabah-svæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Clean bungalow, good location, cute dogs and very very friendly staff! Also very low price. The food is simple, but good enough.

Maglami-lami Water House í Semporna býður upp á gistingu, veitingastað og sjávarútsýni. Það er með fullbúið sérbaðherbergi með skolskál og inniskóm. Smáhýsið er með sólarverönd. Just living on the water. No sand, no bugs, just simple wooden floor and tourquise sea beneath your feet. And the staff is just one of a kind. If you need anything, they are there to assist you. But if you want your mind to chill, they just let you be. No small talk, no pretended kindness, no hustle. Perfection.

Tampat do Aman er umkringt gróskumiklum gróðri og býður upp á gistirými í Kg Tiga Papan, 30 km frá Kudat. Gististaðurinn býður upp á akstursþjónustu gegn aukagjaldi (sjá smáa letrið). Howard was an exceptional host. From the minute we arrived, he made us feel settled and showed us around the area. He offered to bring us every morning to wherever we wanted to go along the tip of Borneo. The jungle camp itself is so special and there is a great vibe amongst the other travellers. We would have loved to stay longer but we needed to catch the bus to Sandakan (and they don’t go very often!)
