The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

Linda was a wonderful host and a knowledgeable guide, the food was good and we saw all the animals that we wanted to see during the river trips

Majutusasutus paikneb 100 meetri pikkusel mäel, kust avaneb vaade Kinabatangani metsakaitsealale. Last Frontier Boutique Resort asub Bilitis, kaunist Sandakani tänavast 2-tunnise autosõidu kaugusel. Every people are so friendly and nice! Hospitality is great. Due to this hospitality, you feel safe and you can enjoy jangle without fear. Sound of insects, birds and nature things are so great in and around guest house. You use all your seances and you find your own new ability. I went with 74 years old grandfather and 70 years old grandmother. They did not expect such a jangle adventure, but they are so happy about this stay and they enjoyed a lot, but you need to take about 500 steps to the guest house though. Now they have more confidence to try everything. We saw many other European tourist on the river cruse boat. Many of them had grey hair. How old you are, you can enjoy this place and experience if you are open to new things. I went with 4, 8, 11 years old kids too. They enjoyed too. They loved pancake so much. Thank you for meeting allergy request too. Communication before trip was also very nice and quick. Thank you again for the great experience!

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort asub Sepilokis. Kohapeal on aastaringselt avatud välibassein ja baar. Igal hommikul pakutakse hommikusööki Rootsi lauas, à la carte või Ameerika hommikusööki. Really amazing place to stay near all of the sights in Sepilok. I chose to walk everywhere and it seemed to be in a pretty central location. Food was tasty and staff was friendly.

D' Limbai Cottage asub Ranau's Sabah' piirkonnas. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Puhkemajakesel on terrass. Comfortable dining room with complete kitchen facilities. Comfortable and very clean room complete with iron, hair dryer,kettle. Stunning and wonderful view of Mount Kinabalu. Definitely will stay again. The owner/host very nice and helpful.

Nulu View Cabin asub Kundasangis Sabah' piirkonnas. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Mõnel majutusruumil on mäevaatega terrass, köök koos kõige vajalikuga ja privaatne bideega vannituba. This place had a beautiful view of Mt. Kinabatangan and the owners were really nice.

Kinabatangan Wildlife Lodge asub Sabah' piirkonnas Sandakanis. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Igas majutusruumis on privaatne vannituba, kus on vann, föön ja sussid. I like the fact that the auntie feed us with more than we can eat! Comfortable lodge, peaceful and serene place to get away from the bustling cities and work life. Slept like a log during our stay here. The lodges equiped with air conditioning, hot heater, basic amenities..they even have all day coffee tea.

Merevaatega Maglami-lami Water House asub Sempornas. Kohapeal on restoran. Privaatses vannitoas on bidee, sussid ja kõik muu vajalik. Puhkemajakesel on päikeseterrass. Just living on the water. No sand, no bugs, just simple wooden floor and tourquise sea beneath your feet. And the staff is just one of a kind. If you need anything, they are there to assist you. But if you want your mind to chill, they just let you be. No small talk, no pretended kindness, no hustle. Perfection.

Lopsaka rohelusega ümbritsetud Tampat do Aman asub Kg Tiga Papanis, 30 km kaugusel Kudatist. Majutusasutus pakub lisatasu eest vastutulemise teenust (vt peenes kirjas infot). Howard was an exceptional host. From the minute we arrived, he made us feel settled and showed us around the area. He offered to bring us every morning to wherever we wanted to go along the tip of Borneo. The jungle camp itself is so special and there is a great vibe amongst the other travellers. We would have loved to stay longer but we needed to catch the bus to Sandakan (and they don’t go very often!)
