Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. I liked everything! The atmosphere is quite and relaxing. You feel as in the family, and a very accepting family! Everything you need is provided for you; Fred and Espi really make your life comfortable. In addition, the wonderful nature around, and you can get kayaks to go to the nearest island to make snorkeling and to see corals and colorful fishes... If you need a rest after the long working year, it is the best place you can choose. No noise, no transport, no crowds, the view of ocean, a very clean beach near the stay. We had a walk around the island, and the best and cleanest beach was near our stay. The food that the owners provide was delicious, everything was home-made, including the bread that I couldn't stop to eat it. I have a food allergy, and Espi cooked for me individually so that I could eat without worrying about it. It is the place that I would like to return there each year! I just want to thank Fred and Espi, his wife, for this wonderful time!

Set atop a 100 metre hill overlooking the Kinabatangan Forest Reserve, The Last Frontier Boutique Resort is located in Bilit, and is located a 2 hour drive from the beautiful Sandakan. This is not just a ‘business’, it is a passion! Jason and Gert are sharing a piece of the rainforest to help travelers experience wildlife, insects and plants in their natural habitat. Jason and Gert have created a safe and relaxing environment for all guests to experience true nature. The cabin has wood walls and floors - simple design and furnishings, and so comfortable. There are 2 chairs on the balcony, outside of each room, to enjoy the local flora and fauna. The daily schedule is designed for 2 nights, but we wanted some additional quiet time in the jungle so stayed for 4 nights. Jason made sure that we received different meals for lunch and dinner - he really works to make all meals special! The banana pancakes with homemade caramel sauce is phenomenal! The dining room (with ceiling fans) is also a place that you can hang out - have a coffee, read, play cards, visit and/or observe your surroundings. There is always a pitcher of cold and refreshing water waiting for you. There is a terrace off the dining room (no fans) with benches and small tables - great to look out over the landscape. We went on an amazing evening boat cruise every evening (included in the package). The optional sunrise river cruise starts at 5:30 am - beautiful and quiet (additional small fee). During our cruises, our guide/captain Rodel helped us find Pygmy elephants, crocodiles, hornbills, kingfishers, Silver Leaf monkeys, Proboscis monkeys and macaque monkeys. We absolutely loved our time on the Kinabatangan River! Jason, Gert and staff are so calm, friendly and informative. A once in a lifetime experience/place to enjoy nature and learn about/observe amazing Borneo animals in the wild!

Bayu Senja Lodge se află în Kundasang și include vedere la grădină, WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. its on top of the hill, with a good ciew of the villages snd the mount of KK. Every facilities are available, and the staff was quiet nice too. I enjoyed staying there, and would be willing to go next time.

Borneo Jungle Adventure se găsește în Kinabatangan și are WiFi gratuit, o terasă și facilități de grătar. Everything was amazing and fun. Plenty of food, great guides and friendly staff. You can’t go wrong with Khai as your guide, he is so knowledgeable and fun. Grace is a wonderful receptionist and Dinki is a fabulous cook. They all went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful four days in the jungle. We did fine without any Air Conditioning.

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort se află în localitatea Sepilok din regiunea Sabah și oferă parcare privată gratuită și acces la o baie cu hidromasaj. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Nulu View Cabin se află în Kundasang. Se oferă la locație parcare privată. Unele unități au o terasă cu vedere la munte, o bucătărie complet utilată și o baie proprie cu bideu. Great view, superb facilities, clean & comfortable.

Maglami-lami Water House se găsește în Semporna și oferă unități de cazare cu balcon. Oaspeții au la dispoziție o baie proprie complet echipată, cu bideu și papuci de casă. The accommodation was much better than what l expected, except the room. The view under the sunshine was fantastic, it's suitable for photography lovers very much. Besides, the food taste was also good even though the variety was not much. However, the most worthy to be recommended was the activities offered by Waterhouse. All the guides are so friendly and helpful, so we can easily enjoy each tour : )

Tampat do Aman se află în Kudat, la 1,7 km de Plaja Bawang Jamal și la 2,8 km de Plaja Kalampunian, și pune la dispoziție cazare cu WiFi gratuit și o grădină cu o terasă și vedere la lac. Amazing place to stay, fantastic owner, close to wonderfull beaches!

Sabah Tea Resort se găsește în Ranau și oferă WiFi gratuit și vedere la munte. Unele unități au o baie comună cu duș, articole de toaletă gratuite, un uscător de păr și papuci de casă. The place was really huge and suitable for big family gathering.The house and surrounding was clean.The mount Kinabalu view was amazing,it is a private area and u will enjoy the privacy.Definitely will come back.

Paganakan Dii Tropical Retreat features private cottages and dormitory beds in the middle of a rainforest. The hotel has a restaurant, free Wi-Fi and laundry facilities. we were absolutely charmed by the place (beautiful jungle view), peaceful place. wonderful attitude of the owner. This is where we felt the best of our stay in Borneo. Who wants to know the atmosphere of Borneo - this is Borneo!
