The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

El The Last Frontier Boutique Resort se encuentra en Bilit, en lo alto de una colina de 100 metros con vistas a la reserva forestal de Kinabatangan y a 2 horas en coche de la hermosa Sandakan. This is not just a ‘business’, it is a passion! Jason and Gert are sharing a piece of the rainforest to help travelers experience wildlife, insects and plants in their natural habitat. Jason and Gert have created a safe and relaxing environment for all guests to experience true nature. The cabin has wood walls and floors - simple design and furnishings, and so comfortable. There are 2 chairs on the balcony, outside of each room, to enjoy the local flora and fauna. The daily schedule is designed for 2 nights, but we wanted some additional quiet time in the jungle so stayed for 4 nights. Jason made sure that we received different meals for lunch and dinner - he really works to make all meals special! The banana pancakes with homemade caramel sauce is phenomenal! The dining room (with ceiling fans) is also a place that you can hang out - have a coffee, read, play cards, visit and/or observe your surroundings. There is always a pitcher of cold and refreshing water waiting for you. There is a terrace off the dining room (no fans) with benches and small tables - great to look out over the landscape. We went on an amazing evening boat cruise every evening (included in the package). The optional sunrise river cruise starts at 5:30 am - beautiful and quiet (additional small fee). During our cruises, our guide/captain Rodel helped us find Pygmy elephants, crocodiles, hornbills, kingfishers, Silver Leaf monkeys, Proboscis monkeys and macaque monkeys. We absolutely loved our time on the Kinabatangan River! Jason, Gert and staff are so calm, friendly and informative. A once in a lifetime experience/place to enjoy nature and learn about/observe amazing Borneo animals in the wild!

Bayu Senja Lodge se encuentra en Kundasang y dispone de vistas al jardín, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The lodge is so lovely with an amazing view surround the lodge together with the cool, fresh air Our family room was a decent one but the facilities, cleanliness & service provided are topnotch!

Borneo Jungle Adventure está en Kinabatangan y dispone de wifi gratis, terraza, restaurante y zona de barbacoa. The rooms are ok, but really in the middle of the jungle and just in front of the river The best part about the place is Lynda, she is like a living documentary she just wanted to show us all the animals in there and we saw them, Rhyno hornbill, elephants, crocodile and basically all the kind of monkeys we could see, just an amazing experience with her being the best guide possible The food was really good too and also the experiences out of the normal package I really recommend the night cruise, is something amazing being in that river in a small boat at night Loved it! Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort se encuentra en Sepilok y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año, restaurante y bar. Really amazing place to stay near all of the sights in Sepilok. I chose to walk everywhere and it seemed to be in a pretty central location. Food was tasty and staff was friendly.

Nulu View Cabin se encuentra en Kundasang, en la región de Sabah, y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. This place had a beautiful view of Mt. Kinabatangan and the owners were really nice.

Kinabatangan Wildlife Lodge está en Sandakan, en la región de Sabah, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. I liked everything! The staff is super friendly and helpful! They have a wide range of activities, the surrounding nature is beautiful, the property is very well maintained! The bed and pillows are nice and comfortable, AC and hot water and even you are in the middle of the jungle no bugs in the rooms! Special thanks to Siti, who welcomed us, arranged our transfers, and took care of all of our needs and big shout out to Irfan— the best wildlife guide!

Maglami-lami Water House está en Semporna y dispone de vistas al mar y restaurante. Todas las unidades tienen baño privado totalmente equipado con bidet y zapatillas. El lodge ofrece terraza solárium. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Free snorkeling around Waterhouse and equipment is also free(10RM to rent fin though). Dining is amazingly delicious(we had very good crabs).

Tampat do Aman se encuentra en Kudat y ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Howard has created a beautiful lodge intertwined with the surrounding environment, going above and beyond for any guests needs, the wildlife reserve he has created is fantastic for bird spotting and if you're lucky enough to be there when he does his edible and medicinal plants tour and traditional rungus lunch don't hesitate.

Sabah Tea Resort está en Ranau y dispone de vistas a la montaña, jardín y restaurante. Hay wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. The place was really huge and suitable for big family gathering.The house and surrounding was clean.The mount Kinabalu view was amazing,it is a private area and u will enjoy the privacy.Definitely will come back.
