The main hotel building is now under new ownership (previous owner holding onto Beach House rooms) Changes required to property description as follows: On the banks of Loch Lomond, this Traditional... It is an excellent hotel. Everything is perfect from the location to the facilities to the staff. We arrived late and the restaurant stopped taking orders as it was after 8pm but the person in charge for the evening made sure that after our delayed flight we would have a nice hearty meal. Rooms were extra comfortable as well. We are returned after 10 years and it maintained the same top notch standards.

Everything, staff top notch and tenured. Whisky Bar one of the best in Scotland. Dinner, all items served were perfection, even down to the veg & Potato 🥔.

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food... Funcionários muito simpáticos! Jantámos no restaurante do hotel, a comida era boa! Definitivamente um local perfeito e com as comodidades necessárias para dormir uma ou duas noites durante a tua visita ao Loch Lomond.

Situated on the shores of the Kyles of Bute, Kames Hotel boasts original Edwardian features, home-cooked food and an extensive range of malt whiskies and local ales. Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The breakfast menu offered a wide selection of options and was cooked to perfection with wonderful ingredients. The hotel has a list of their food suppliers on display and this food provenance is reflected in the wonderful freshly cooked dinners we enjoyed. The main courses were all large portions and very satisfying. The bar had an excellent selection of scottish gins all well worth trying. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and very clean with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The hosts Irene and Scott are very friendly and made us very welcome.

O The Cuilfail é uma estalagem tradicional de gerência familiar, construída no século XIX, localizada a uma curta caminhada das margens do Lago Melfort. Very elegant hotel, with old-fashioned charm (in the past it was a drovers’ inn), clean, well organized. Very kind and very helpful staff, they welcomed us in the late evening. We didn't try the breakfast, but we enjoyed an excellent whiskey in the pub on the ground floor of the hotel, in a very familiar atmosphere. highly recommended
