We had one of the new rooms which is beautifully furnished and has a very big bathroom with both shower and tub. Everything is new and clean and the bed is super comfortable. We would come back.

We arrived late and had dinner in the pub/restaurant. The quality was way in excess of our expectations. I had a Beetroot cured smoked gravadlax with horseradish cream, cress & toasted sourdough followed by Beer battered haddock & hand cut chips with peas & tartare. The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. A huge comfortable bed with a nice view out the front of the building, and nice bathroom with all necessary accessories.

The room was very clean and big . Staff were amazing, very helpful, and went out of their way for you . An absolutely fantastic selection of whisky would highly recommend staying there .

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food... Staff were out on their own, we felt like best friends from the moment we entered the front door. Great atmosphere, great food and amazing surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Uma pousada tradicional de gerência familiar construída no século XIX, localizada a uma curta caminhada das margens do Lago Melfort, o The Cuilfail dispõe de bar, restaurante, estacionamento gratuito... Very elegant hotel, with old-fashioned charm (in the past it was a drovers’ inn), clean, well organized. Very kind and very helpful staff, they welcomed us in the late evening. We didn't try the breakfast, but we enjoyed an excellent whiskey in the pub on the ground floor of the hotel, in a very familiar atmosphere. highly recommended
