Staff were amazing, very helpful, and went out of their way for you . An absolutely fantastic selection of whisky would highly recommend staying there .

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food... Staff were out on their own, we felt like best friends from the moment we entered the front door. Great atmosphere, great food and amazing surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The Cuilnobo er en traditionel, familiedrevet kro fra det 19. århundrede, som ligger en kort gåtur fra bredden af Loch Melfort. Very elegant hotel, with old-fashioned charm (in the past it was a drovers’ inn), clean, well organized. Very kind and very helpful staff, they welcomed us in the late evening. We didn't try the breakfast, but we enjoyed an excellent whiskey in the pub on the ground floor of the hotel, in a very familiar atmosphere. highly recommended
