Located in Inveraray and within less than 1 km of Inveraray Castle, Brambles of Inveraray features a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. This 4-star inn offers a 24-hour front desk. We had one of the new rooms which is beautifully furnished and has a very big bathroom with both shower and tub. Everything is new and clean and the bed is super comfortable. We would come back.

Staff were amazing, very helpful, and went out of their way for you . An absolutely fantastic selection of whisky would highly recommend staying there .

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food... Staff were out on their own, we felt like best friends from the moment we entered the front door. Great atmosphere, great food and amazing surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Situated on the shores of the Kyles of Bute, Kames Hotel boasts original Edwardian features, home-cooked food and an extensive range of malt whiskies and local ales. An absolutely amazing place! A little hidden gem right on the coastline, absolutely loved our few days there!

Situato a pochi passi dalle rive del lago di Loch Melfort, il Cuilfail è una tradizionale locanda a conduzione familiare risalente al XIX secolo che offre un bar, un ristorante, un parcheggio gratuito... Il pernotto migliore tra tutti quelli del mio viaggio in scozia. A parte l'ottima pulizia, che com'è noto in Scozia scarseggia in molte strutture, ho apprezzato l'enormità della camera fornitaci e la struttura in sè, a mio dire veramente bellissima perchè rimasta ferma agli anni 50 senza però essere fatiscente o comunque tenuta male; questo è esattamente quello che va cercato quando si fa un viaggio del genere. Al piano terra c'è anche un piccolo pub in pietra e legno che oltre ad essere bellissimo e caratteristico è anche ben fornito di whisky. Gli host in più sono stati molto simpatici e cortesi, altra qualità importante.
