It is an oasis of calm in an otherwise bustling city. The rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated with many local touches. The hotel serves delicious home cooked food. I had the Sri Lankan breakfast during my stay and can highly recommend it. Overall, staying at the Highbury Hotel felt like staying in a beautiful and welcoming Sri Lankan home. I will surely be back when I return to Colombo next!
