The room itself is very spacious, and at a comfortable temperature despite the heat outside. Piyanth, our host, was friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended - the sort of experience you will not find in any hotel or resort. We were pleasantly surprised, and the very high rating is well deserved.

Set in Colombo on a private peninsula by the banks of the historic Diyawanna Lake, Aathma Colombo House provides accommodation with a garden. Amazing boutique hotel, we choose it because of the art and design , but when we arrived it was much more. The hotel upgraded to the room with jacuzzi, but it was the garden and the furniture, the mosaics and the details that fascinated us.

They cooked for us, we drank some beer together, put an extra bed for my brother in the room and will show you around the city, if you like.
