1.2 km from Setta Beach, guesthouse minkä is a recently renovated property set in Amami and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. hosted by a lovely couple. also if you not speak japanese there is no problem to make things happen, super helpful and supportive. Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. I hope you enjoy this place like I do.

Our hosts Mr. Taguchi and Ms. Taguchi were very kind and gave us many information before our stay and also during our stay. They even drove us to the shop to buy a bus ticket. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location is very quiet and beautiful. The bath is very very nice, a combination of modern shower and traditional bathrooms. The breakfast at Taguchi San residence was incredibly delicious. We will definitely come back here one day.

Wonderful place in such a great environment. The hosts are so nice and welcoming. The decoration is great. The sea view is stunning. You even have a room with a micro wave when you can snack if need be. Several shops around and great places to eat. It is close to a bus stop too and in 30 min you are in Naze the capital. There is a place closeby where you can have a massage too. We absolutly loved it. Thank you so much.

Situated a 15-minute drive from Yakushima Airport, La Isla Tasse is charming accommodation housed in a large American-style mansion. Great location near the bus stop and walkable distance to several nice restaurants and a supermarket. The hosts are very nice and breakfast is so great.

A 3-minute walk from Yakushima Airport, Tomarigi offers a bunk in a dorm room, a garden with a hammock and free Wi-Fi. I came without expectations, and just wanted a good night say with company as I was travelling alone. I really liked the homey experience that Imazaki-san provided. She made sure we felt at home, she brought everyone together and we had a good get together every morning and evening before turning in. If you are able to communicate in a bit of Japanese, it would make the experience amazing. Her place is walking distance from the Airport, and also tucked in between Miyanoura and Anbo ports.

Set 100 metres from Seaman's Beach, 与論ゲストハウス ズッ友荘 offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. This guest house offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Great option for single female traveler to Yoron island. Hosts are very warm and welcoming people who will pick you up in the port with no additional charges. They will also give you great recommendations on what to see and where to eat on the island. For additional 1000 Yen you can have dinner which is absolutely worth it (the food is prepared by host, and it’s delicious). The bed was comfortable with socket, small light, and ventilator inside the capsule. The room was air-conditioned. Location is a bit far from the port but it is very close to many touristic spots including Yurigahama beach, Yoron Minzokumura, Limestone cave. It’s also just 1 min walk to the sea coast. There is a parking lot in front of the hostel. I highly recommend staying in this guest house! I had an incredible time there that I will never forget. Thank you very much ❤️
