We were there only two days as a way to get in sulawesi and leave, but we had a great experience in this Homestay which was very comfy and clean, and the owners are a very nice and attentive people

Ne Pakku Manja Family Home has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Rantepao. This homestay features a garden. The homestay is located in a traditional Torajan village. It is a great experience of a local community life, with basic yet homely and very comfortable accommodation. There is a common area for the guests to get together in the evening and chat which creates a great atmosphere. The bustling locality becomes completely quiet and peaceful at night interrupted only by the occasional dog barking. The bathroom is clean an filled with local plants. The food was superb and the guiding by Meyeske exceptional. We have managed to attend a funeral and felt a part of it thanks to her and understood a lot about the culture.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Rantepao, Mama Tia Family Homestay is a homestay surrounded by views of the mountain. Mama Tia is the excellent homestay and suitable for whom want to connect with locals and nature. It's a bit far from downtown but it's not a problem. The owner is an acknowlegable local guide who can suggest and manage to explore Toraja and help you to book your next trip.

Situated in Rantepao in the South Sulawesi region, Hostel Papa Tia features a garden. The property has mountain views. This is a fabulous homestay. The rooms are big and clean. The balcony upstairs is breeze and has wonderful views. We met a lot of interesting travellers in this home and made our stay even better. The family is wonderful and Yacobus and his son are the best guides. They know were to go and take you to interesting places. This homestay is highly recommended.

Toraja Sanggalangi Homestay is a recently renovated homestay in Rantepao, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. This Homestay was the definition of what a perfect Indonesian Homestay experience should look like. The amazingly kind family took me in as a child of their own. I happened to become a little sick during my stay due to too much travelling in the previous days so the family responded by giving my medicine, bringing me tea, and telling me to rest up for as many days as I might need until I felt better. I felt as if I was at home. And along with that, they offer scooters rental for 100k per day, washing for 20k per kilo and delicious and filling meals all around the clock upon request for only 25k per meal. The father of the family also can take you to a traditional Toraja funeral ceremony if you ask him. Without exaggeration, this has been one of my favourite and most wholesome Homestays during my 6 month long Asia travels. Thanks so much again and I can’t wait to come back

Location is just awesome, you get the full vibe of a hilly village and the main city is just at walkable distance. But the main highlight is the family, they are so hardworking nd humble.

Nice clean homestay a short walk from the beach. Rooftop area has a nice view at night, but is a little too hot during the day.

We loved our stay in Sinki home family. Imanuel was so caring and helped us with all our questions - he literally made us feel at home (big thank you!). Also his Mie Goreng is the best I ever had! we can 100% recommend to stay here and we hope to be back some other time.
