Meyske and her mother are amazing hosts and the homestay is cozy and well decorated. It is designed to share some space and experiences with the other travelers. Meyske is an amazing guide to get to know Toraja and their traditions. She helps you make plans for the day to discover the area, but I would recommend a guided tour with her. We did 2 days and couldn't be more happy about our decision! Really informative, info well structured, unique experiences and a perfect way to get to know everything closely. Her english is great which also helps! The food Meyske and her mother prepare is the best! As vegetarians we have very few options eating out in Indonesia... They made different and delicious things so we decided to have dinner at the homestay every night!

Nastanitev Mama Tia Family Homestay se nahaja v mestu Rantepao in ponuja vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter razgled na gore. Na voljo je brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi. Everything was great, but the staff (especially Yansen) was really off the chart, willing to help with recommendations, plan arrangements, food, etc. One of the highlights of the trip was to cook a local dish in a bamboo with Yansen. The food was also delicious. Overall, excellently run and amazing hosts!

The rooms are big and clean. The balcony upstairs is breeze and has wonderful views. We met a lot of interesting travellers in this home and made our stay even better. The family is wonderful and Yacobus and his son are the best guides. They know were to go and take you to interesting places. This homestay is highly recommended.

Nastanitev Toraja Sanggalangi Homestay je v mestu Rantepao in nudi brezplačen WiFi, vrt ter teraso. Everything was exceptional! The hosts are amazingly kind and generous. Peso picked us up from the overnight bus and let us into our rooms at 7am, gave us breakfast and got us on his tour for the day. He’s a great guide and runs very smooth tours, he is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Toraja culture and history, his English is good. The room and house is of hotel standard, with homestay personal care and attention. The cleanest feet I’ve had in Indonesia! The best homestay of our travels! The food is delicious and abundant! Quiet location yet central enough, beautiful views. The hosts also dropped us at the bus station for our returning overnight bus, after our 3 day stayed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you

Location is just awesome, you get the full vibe of a hilly village and the main city is just at walkable distance. But the main highlight is the family, they are so hardworking nd humble.

Imanuel and his son are the nicest people. Imanuel is the local guild and he can organise the tour and treks for you. He can help with tickets and transport and he is very informative. Accommodation is basic but nice and clean. Very good breakfast with fresh fruits and juice. And it's just a few minutes walk from the city center The location is stunning - in the middle of a rice field. I could simply sit on the terrace and enjoy the view. The water buffalos, people working on the rice fields and lots of birds. And there are fireflies in the evening. I would love to stay longer here in Rante Pao. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
