We had a nice stay with Marlah and her family. She helped us with everything we needed like renting scooter, laundry services and taxi. Also the homestay is located in a very good location surrounded by good choices to eat and near a boulevard, so you can go and see the sunset :) the house was very lovely and tidy, and also our room was big enough. And lastly, the breakie was so good! Thanks for all!

In a short time me and my girlfriend got to know her quite well because she is very open. We even, quite literally, were taken into her family as we had the honor of joining her family to a ceremony as guests. Learning about the area and its culture and traditions, it was really nice staying with Meyske as she explains very well and shows you the amazing sites. I would highly recommend Meyske as guide as she also makes you feel very comfortable, also while visiting ceremonies which can sometimes be intense. Besides the amazing energy and atmosphere, Meyske and her mother also prepared delicious breakfast and dinner every day. It was a very natural and local-like experience staying with Meyske and her mother. Memories we will never forget.

Mama Tia Family Homestay har en god beliggenhed for en afslappende ferie i Rantepao og er et homestay omgivet af bjergudsigt. Ejendommen har have, fælles opholdsstue og parkering på stedet. This is the best homestay ever! Yansen and his family already started taking care of us before we even got there. Everybody was super nice and giving good tips (funeral ceremonies, further transport, where to buy postcards;)…). They also provide laundry service and very very good food! We came as strangers and it felt like we left as a part of the family!

This is a fabulous homestay. The rooms are big and clean. The balcony upstairs is breeze and has wonderful views. We met a lot of interesting travellers in this home and made our stay even better. The family is wonderful and Yacobus and his son are the best guides. They know were to go and take you to interesting places. This homestay is highly recommended.

Toraja Sanggalangi Homestay er et nyrenoveret homestay i Rantepao, hvor gæsterne kan nyde haven og terrassen. Peso did a really nice tour for me that included some home visits you cannot do on your own. Nice food, shower works. Deluxe room is worth paying extra for as it comes with a balcony with a view. Got a decent massage. Hosts are very kind people who try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Grandma adds to the extra homely atmosphere.

Location is just awesome, you get the full vibe of a hilly village and the main city is just at walkable distance. But the main highlight is the family, they are so hardworking nd humble.

Most important - hosts are the best! Imanuel and his son are the nicest people. Imanuel is the local guild and he can organise the tour and treks for you. He can help with tickets and transport and he is very informative. Accommodation is basic but nice and clean. Very good breakfast with fresh fruits and juice. And it's just a few minutes walk from the city center The location is stunning - in the middle of a rice field. I could simply sit on the terrace and enjoy the view. The water buffalos, people working on the rice fields and lots of birds. And there are fireflies in the evening. I would love to stay longer here in Rante Pao. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Bara Village Guest House Bira ligger i Bira, få skridt fra Tanjung Bira-stranden, og har have, terrasse og havudsigt. Very nice and helpful owner, beautiful place directly at the beach :)

Sulawesi Castle ligger i Rantepao i Sydsulawesi-regionen og har terrasse. Dette 2-stjernede pensionat tilbyder bagageopbevaring og gratis wi-fi. Samtlige værelser har balkon. Everything! Our stay was perfect. Sarah (the owner) is a very great host and helped us with so many kind of different things! She and the whole family are incredibly kind. Sarah organized for example a guide, a motorbike and our bus back to Makassar. When somebody of us felt sick, she said was very caring and she did everything that we felt really comfortable. On top of all of that, she is one of the best baker we have ever seen (jam, bread, cake… all is homemade) and definitely the best in Indonesia!! She is creative, innovative and she built here in the middle of Tana Toraja a place where everybody just can feel like home! We would recommend our guide ASTRO: Sarah organized a guide called Astro. He is truly passionate about his work and tells you about everything and when you have a question he definitely will answer it. He did never hurry us and gave us all the time we needed to process this amazing culture in Tana Toraja. Astro was every time the first one, who knew news and rumors and that’s why we spent two wonderful days with him and enjoyed every single minute with this great guy.
