Meyske is an amazing guide to get to know Toraja and their traditions. She helps you make plans for the day to discover the area, but I would recommend a guided tour with her. We did 2 days and couldn't be more happy about our decision! Really informative, info well structured, unique experiences and a perfect way to get to know everything closely. Her english is great which also helps! The food Meyske and her mother prepare is the best! As vegetarians we have very few options eating out in Indonesia... They made different and delicious things so we decided to have dinner at the homestay every night!

Tens aigua calenta a la dutxa, bona conexió wifi i una cuina excelent. Vam contractar el guia, el Jakub, i un cotxe i una scooter. Vam passar uns dies genials, vam aprendre moltissim dels Toraja. La comunicació amb el Yansen per la organitzacio de tot ha sigut perfecte Moltes grácies!!

The balcony upstairs is breeze and has wonderful views. We met a lot of interesting travellers in this home and made our stay even better. The family is wonderful and Yacobus and his son are the best guides. They know were to go and take you to interesting places. This homestay is highly recommended.

I had a wonderful time here. Most important - hosts are the best! Imanuel and his son are the nicest people. Imanuel is the local guild and he can organise the tour and treks for you. He can help with tickets and transport and he is very informative. Accommodation is basic but nice and clean. Very good breakfast with fresh fruits and juice. And it's just a few minutes walk from the city center The location is stunning - in the middle of a rice field. I could simply sit on the terrace and enjoy the view. The water buffalos, people working on the rice fields and lots of birds. And there are fireflies in the evening. I would love to stay longer here in Rante Pao. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
