Newly renovated during the spring of 2023, Hotel Local 101 is an independent hotel quietly tucked away in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, on a charming street made up of classical Icelandic homes. The staff is very helpful .Our flight is earlier than the breakfast time.They prepared the breakfast earlier.

Set in the popular 101 harbour district of Berjaya Reykjavik Marina Hotel offers free Wi-Fi access. All rooms include a flat-screen TV and either city or harbor views. The location is very good, it’s about a ten minute walk to get to the heart of the city center but it’s located away from the bars/clubs so you have a much better chance of getting a good nights sleep. The rooms are spacious and clean and the hotel has a nice atmosphere with some cool art pieces and meeting rooms on the first floor. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive and helped me with my booking when I had made a very unfortunate mistake with the dates but they fixed them for me at no extra cost when they really didn’t have to. Overall a really good experience and honestly no minus points at all.

Loved the location, beautiful view of the harbor, loved the little balcony. Apartment had everything we need for our stay. Washing machine and dryer was very handy. Communication with host was good.
