I had stayed in the same place before, but it was called OK Hotel then. The rooms have undergone quite an upgrade and refurbishment. This is time mine was a spacious double room with an excellent kitchenette - a stovetop, a microwave, an espresso machine and a fridge. It was quite well equipped with cups, plates, glasses etc. I especially appreciated the espresso pods! There was also a small bottle of cooking oil - always appreciated in a self-catering place like this. The room was big and clean, with a big table and several chairs and a large-screen Android TV. My room was toward Laugavegur on the 3rd floor. Like before, the entrance is via a pub, a bit unexpected and possibly confusing if you don't know about this beforehand. Not very well marked, but there were signs on the window next to the pub door.

This eco-friendly hotel is next to Öskjuhlíd Hill’s quiet woods and 1 km from Nauthólsvík geothermal beach. WiFi and gym access are free. A very short but enjoyable stay at the hotel. Staff very nice and helpful. Fantastic breakfasts

This hotel is in the fashionable 101 District, close to Reykjavík Harbour. Wi-Fi and gym access is free. Flat-screen TVs with screen mirroring are standard at Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel. Very nice, clean and big room. Also, the bathroom was huge with a bathtub.
