Reykjavik Residence combines hotel services with self-catering apartments that offer flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and modern kitchen facilities. Brilliant place to stay. They delivered fresh bread every morning and during the day would bring along a basket of food which included bread, cheese, fruit, yoghurts and other delicious food which helped for making packed lunches and snacks. Incredible value and so tasty and delicious. They even replaced coffee pods on a daily basis. Highly recommend.

The location cannot be better, the hotel design is modern but cozy, the staff were extremely accommodating and got us into our room at 10:30am as we were just getting off a red eye - hugely appreciated. The bed and the linens made you feel like you’re snoozing on a cloud.

Downtown Reykjavik is full of life, joy and culture, so it can be noisy at night. Please note that this is a self check-in property with no reception. We booked the room at the last minute, and only a double bed room available. The staff were very nice to help us to re-arrange the double bed to twins bed. The room is spacious and well equipped. There is even a bathtub that we didn't expect on the price we paid. Free coffee and hot chocolate are available around the clock, and it really helps when coffees in Reykjavik are quite expensive.

Right on the main street of downtown and close to the bus stops for tours. We arrived very early in the morning and they had our room ready which was so nice after a long flight. I was very surprised. They do hold luggage also. Clean room. Both gentlemen at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
