Newly renovated during the spring of 2023, Hotel Local 101 is an independent hotel quietly tucked away in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, on a charming street made up of classical Icelandic homes. Helpful and friendly manager and staff, very clean, our second year of staying at this hotel and just as happy with the stay as last time!

Set in the popular 101 harbour district of Berjaya Reykjavik Marina Hotel offers free Wi-Fi access. All rooms include a flat-screen TV and either city or harbor views. Great location in harbour area lots of restaurants and bakeries near by. Not to long of a walk to the bus stop 12 where tours pick you up. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean.

This place has everything you need for a fabulous stay in Reykjavik. It's within easy walking distance of the main streets, yet far enough away to allow a little more peace. There is secure parking underneath the building, with an elevator up to the 3rd floor. The apartment has a great kitchen with everything you could need, a washing machine and dryer to keep up with your laundry, and a comfy bed and lounge area. There are supermarkets close by too. Communication with the hosts was fabulous - very responsive and helpful. We would happily recommend to family and friends, and would definitely stay again!
