Newly renovated during the spring of 2023, Hotel Local 101 is an independent hotel quietly tucked away in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, on a charming street made up of classical Icelandic homes. Great location, just next to the harbor and the town centre. Top breakfast, not so big but well balanced for all tastes. Large room with lots of space for luggage storing. The bed was super comfy! We were so lucky to watch the Northern Lights right from our room!

Set in the popular 101 harbour district of Berjaya Reykjavik Marina Hotel offers free Wi-Fi access. All rooms include a flat-screen TV and either city or harbor views. The location is very good, it’s about a ten minute walk to get to the heart of the city center but it’s located away from the bars/clubs so you have a much better chance of getting a good nights sleep. The rooms are spacious and clean and the hotel has a nice atmosphere with some cool art pieces and meeting rooms on the first floor. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive and helped me with my booking when I had made a very unfortunate mistake with the dates but they fixed them for me at no extra cost when they really didn’t have to. Overall a really good experience and honestly no minus points at all.

The location was fab, there was a washer and dryer (that were both clean and worked well), which was super handy of us and one of the main reason for booking this place however there was so much to love, it was clean, had cooking facilities (great for a family with a toddler) and the location. We stayed on the on 3rd level with lift access and check in was a breeze. Would highly recommend this place

This place has everything you need for a fabulous stay in Reykjavik. It's within easy walking distance of the main streets, yet far enough away to allow a little more peace. There is secure parking underneath the building, with an elevator up to the 3rd floor. The apartment has a great kitchen with everything you could need, a washing machine and dryer to keep up with your laundry, and a comfy bed and lounge area. There are supermarkets close by too. Communication with the hosts was fabulous - very responsive and helpful. We would happily recommend to family and friends, and would definitely stay again!

We recently had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Edda’s SK52 by the Sea, Unique spacious luxury airbnb, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The property was impeccably clean, beautifully & very tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to the smallest details, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—conveniently situated near Reykjavik (10mins drive) and was a great location to kickstart all our sighting tours/drive to the Golden Circle, and the other parts of southern of Iceland. One of the highlights was the spacious bathroom, which was a real luxury—plenty of room to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen island was another standout feature, perfect for both cooking and socializing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights and woke up refreshed and to a great view each morning. Free parking, with it's close proximity to our stay is a huge bonus. Edda, our host, is the most gracious and generous person ever. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home. She was incredibly responsive, attentive, and yet provided us with all the privacy we needed. We could not ask for anything more. Studio Apartment Reykjavik City Center ligger i Vesturbær i Reykjavik, 1,9 km från Hallgrímskirkja, 2,7 km från Solfar Sun Voyager och 3,5 km från The Pearl. The apartment was very cozy and comfortable and very well stocked. There even was a washing machine. Also, the hosts were fantastic. We needed to visit a hospital and they contacted the right hospital for us and they even drove us there.
