Everything was exceptional: -The hotel: lovely, charming, classic decoration. Really beautiful. -The room: cozy, the bed was extremely comfortable, we had a great view as well. -The staff: super friendly and nice. It seems to be run by the owners. We met Kevin the day we arrived and he gave us great recommendations for the city. He help us out with an early check in that was highly appreciated after a long flight. -Breakfast: Really delicious. It’s made to order with great options. I asked the eggs with salmon that was so tasty! -Location: it’s really well located. 2 mins walk from the bus stop that takes you everywhere in no time. If you want to walk, it’s a 25 nice and beautiful walk to the old town. I highly recommend staying here.

This luxurious 5-star retreat has a fine-dining restaurant and romantic bedrooms about 3 km from the Royal Mile. Prestonfield is surrounded by gardens and a golf course. All fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed food, service and surroundings.

Perfectly appointed close to university and only 10-15 from central Edinburgh. Clean, cosy with all the modern conveniences.

Richard was always very busy but a really nice guy. The location at the foot of Arthur's Seat ist great and the surroundings are quiet. Breakfast was very tasty.
