This luxurious 5-star retreat has a fine-dining restaurant and romantic bedrooms about 3 km from the Royal Mile. Prestonfield is surrounded by gardens and a golf course. We loved everything: the staff, the housekeeping, the service, the impeccable food for breakfast and dinner. The food at the hotel restaurant was better than Michelin star restaurant. We loved the decor and the specious lobby ( several of them). So many rooms to relax and enjoy a good book with a glass of wine or a good coffee. It is shown that a lot of thought and efforts were invested to make our stay perfect. They succeeded in every way. We felt like royalty.

The Scholar is a newly refurbished hotel located in the beautiful grounds of the Pollock Estate, just a few minutes’ walk from Arthurs Seat, Holyrood Park and the Meadows and within walking distance... This small cozy place was absolutely worth staying in. The room was very neat and clean. It was cozy in a cold weather. I usually struggle in sleeping in hotels but I must say that I had a good sleep there. The staff are extra friendly and helpful. They were very helpful even in giving directions around the city. The location of the hotel is very convenient and the bus stop is right at the gate of the hotel. I definitely recommend it.

KM Hotel offers an accommodation in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic Old Town, a stone’s throw from Princes Street, Waverley Rail Station, Edinburgh Castle and The Royal Mile. Comfortable and spotless clean. Close to the University and city center. The hotel belongs to the University. Small room but fully equipped. No elevators, ask for a room on first floor is advisable. A good choice to stay 2 or 3 nights in Edinburgh.

This 4-star townhouse hotel is located within the quiet residential area of Newington, just 1 mile from Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile and vibrant city centre. The staff were polite, and they upgraded my room to a better one.

This elegant 4-star Victorian hotel offers luxurious rooms featuring iPod docks, flat-screen TVs, sherry and shortbread. Breakfast was very delicious with lots of variety. Room was tidy and big bed was so comfortable 15 mints walk to center and 5 mnts in bus . They allow us early check inn as we were too tired after a long journey very highly recommended
